Grandparents and pupils workshops!
In our institution traditional puppet workshops
consisted of three steps:
•Meeting of MIT team who presented the topic,
discussed methods and about the material for these
workshops.
•Discussions with pupils from secondary schools, with
parents and grandparents of pupils from primary
cycle and nursery schools to establish data of
workshops, the necessary materials and creative
techniques.
•Realizing puppets in numerous and creative
workshops where we enjoyed this large contribution
of grandparents and parents, methods, materials and
ideas coming from them. All classes from our
institution have developed creative workshops with
parents and grandparents of students, most have
been conducted outside the classroom schedule in a
friendly atmosphere, sometimes accompanied by food
prepared by grandmothers.
9. TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!
Most working materials, canvas white, colored
canvas, cotton, colored thread, needles, beads
ornaments were gifted by grandparents and
parents to be used in the workshops.
Many grandmothers present presented to pupils
different techniques for sewing dolls, clothing
embroidery, sewing beaded embellishment of
these colorful puppets that resemble those of their
childhood.
All generations involved in these activities
cooperating and communicated positively have
maintained a friendly atmosphere, all enjoyed
most of the initiative.
Grandmothers of children remember their
childhood with nostalgia when also organized
weekly social meetings in order to manufacture
different items of clothing, reciting stories
,manufacture different toys made of natural
materials.
10. TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!
We set for March to realize another series of
workshops with grandparents and on this
occasion we will disseminate the meeting and
activities in Bulgaria.
After discussion with the project team we want
to include in the educational process in the
schools more collaborative moments with
grandparents of students.
Grandparents will be sources of information
for local heritage culture and will transmit this
knowledge to the younger generation.
The children were very excited about these
workshops photographed and filmed every
step, they were very glad to shared this
moment, own creations on different social
networks.
These moments are important for the
formation and holistic development of our
students and potential of traditions is no limit.

Family
To determine family relationships and ensure
the sustainability of our work from workshops
with parents and grandparents Romanian
team have created for each country a didactic
game with puppets.
Families of puppets were created by various
techniques some modern clothes and others
were dressed in traditional costumes.
Often, those who are challenged they can play
very well, very much talking and arguing a
situation, even before they were the opposite.
This is a good thing because you get to
discover interesting facts about the person
and to know her better. Another utility role play
emerges in situations where you think there is
no solution to solve a problem.
13. TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!
Role play and are advantageous because they
can switch roles between participants often,
they are free to say what they thought, while
being in agreement with the roles they play.
This stimulates cooperation, competition,
interaction with others and, not least, empathy.
Recorded be formulated as follows: "Role-
playing: Family”.
The role playing is a very good method of
reviewing experience, and when used it in
intercultural learning sessions its objectives
should be: to analyze prejudices, to promote
tolerance in the group and between different
cultures, to analyze relationships of minority /
majority.
Positive reactions received from the categories
involved in this complex activity cause us to
say traditional games can still survive and
become an important resource in our class
work.
This role play will be an important part of
Societal Curriculum.
