PARALLEL EVENTS
Poetry at the Children’s Corner
Poetry “footprints”
A selection of verses of Greek poets for children – and adults – is guiding us from the entrance of pavilion 13 to the
Children’s Corner. Look for your favourite poem!
Competition for children aged 7-12: “Write it… and it will come true!”
A little poem may hide a big world inside it.
And a little child may hide inside her/him a big poem.
The children are asked to write a poem inspired by an orange, a cloud, a pillow, a magician, a button, a question mark, an
exclamation mark… At the Children’s Corner pencils and paper are waiting for them… and a big box, too!
Event on the occasion of the competition “Write it… and it will come true”
On Sunday, 11 May, at 5 o’ clock in the afternoon, at the Poetry stand, children that have participated in the poetry
competition at the Children’s Corner are coming back, this time in order to read their poems in front of the audience!
Comics Festival
The so-called 9th Art is particularly honoured this year at the TBF. The specially fitted space, at pavilion 13, will host
publications of Greek and foreign creators as well as thematic exhibitions of comics, representative of the modern Greek
and international scene, while at the same time there will be discussions and workshops addressed to children and adults.
Organized by: EKEBI/HFC in cooperation with COMIDOM group
