This document discusses pedagogical methods for better cooperation between preschool staff and parents. It outlines several key methods: family partnership through communication and involvement in activities; home visits to better understand the child; meetings with parents to discuss the preschool program; common events like celebrations; workshops where parents actively participate; and volunteering where parents support special events. During the pandemic, collaboration was restricted to virtual communication due to limited digital skills, so summer workshops are planned to remedy this. • Family partnership There must be a permanent communication between the family and the
kindergarten, a partnership, which even if it is not put on paper, must lead to child education.
Partnerships are considered essential in organizing and carrying out the activity in school /
kindergarten .Inviting parents to participate in various programs and activities in kindergarten, in
order to help the parent to know ways and methods of organizing the kindergarten system,
coordinating games, using toys - their usefulness is the best way to collaborate between
kindergarten and family, in educational partnerships.
• Home visits are the most appropriate in this regard and this requires a lot of tact, because they
could be misinterpreted. Visits can also be made by parents to kindergarten in the context in
which the parent wants to know the educational climate offered by kindergarten, which are the
educator-child relationships. The goal is the close connection between family and kindergarten,
maintaining the educator's interest in the child. This is how the child is better known, his behavior
in the family environment, what is his relationship with the parent, his behavior towards the
child. You can find interesting information about culture, predispositions and family skills.

Meetings with parents: periodic meetings also come for the purpose of permanent information and
exchange of educators-parents. Organizational problems within the kindergarten how would be: the
internal regulations of the kindergarten / group, the educational offer of the kindergarten, the daily
program of activities, extracurricular activities, the material needs of the group; is debating only
during the meetings and is approved with the consent of all parents.
Periodic events are a good opportunity for mutual knowledge, discovery and appreciation of the
efforts made by children in trying to gain autonomy. They support the knowledge of the parents
between them, their involvement in the organization and development of these activities through;
helping children to learn texts for celebration and making, procuring costumes, but also to evaluate
children's performance
7. Pedagogical methods for better cooperation with children and parents
Workshops with parents - conducted at the initiative of the educator, requires the presence of parents and
their active involvement in the activity.
Visits, excursions, walks. Within these activities, parents can collaborate: by directly participating in the
organization and accompaniment of children, by ensuring their safety and supervision, as well as indirectly by
sponsoring activities. They are effective for the development of the child's autonomy and the acquisition of
the skills of civilized behavior in public spaces.
Volunteering - through optional support, parents can apply their knowledge and skills to improve the
educational act through class sponsorships or “coordination and collaboration in special events.

• During the pandemic period, the
collaboration between kindergarten and
family was much restricted, moving to the
virtual space. Socialization, sharing of
educational methods, communication was
limited due to the poor digital skills of
parents.
• The restrictions regarding the organization
of events, meetings with parents, joint
workshops determined the team of
teachers from our kindergarten to try
ways to remedy the collaboration and
learning during the summer through
workshops OvidiuRo and Family Club.
