Salva is a village in
Nord-Est of Romania.
Bistrita-Năsăud County ,
Transylvania.
Our village is located in a tourist
area known for its brand Dracula, at
100 km from Cluj-Napoca
International Airport.
It is famous in Romania for its
traditional crafts, costumes and
production of cultural-artistic
activities and abroad.
Our school has the name of a
great Romanian geographer
Tiberiu Morariu who was born in
Salva and learn in our institution.

3. SCHOOL“TIBERIUMORARIU“SALVA,ROMANIA
In our school are enrolled 220 pupils
ages between 3 and 16 years old in
four cycles of education, pre-primary
, primary, secondary and vocational ,
guided by 20 teachers.
Our children come from rural areas
with socio-economic problems. Most
of children come from families
belonging to lower and middle class
because parents work in agriculture,
in companies around village, some
are immigrants in Spain , Italy, UK
and the children
remained in the care of grandparents
or other relatives.

The school consists of two
school buildings and a sports
yard. The first
building host, classes of
kindergarten ( 3 classes) and
primary education
(5 classes).
In the second building are
classes
Vth- VIIIth and vocational class.
Are 5 classrooms , 3 laboratories
, the
teachers' room, the principal’s
office, the secretary’s office,
a gym.

The Centre for documentation
and
information offers space for a
reading room, a multimedia
room and a library with the
educational offer in
electronic and physical
support, and
other modern facilities.
Computer lab is equipped with
20
computers connected to the
Internet,
22 tablets and one
Smartboard through project
Digitaliada.

Since 2015 our school has
implementing Erasmus + KA2
Projects on various needs
such as traditional games,
migration and inclusion,
digital education, European
cultural heritage, youth clubs
and ecology. In the Erasmus +
school we have an Erasmus +
room where all the materials
and tangible results produced
in the project are displayed,
some activities are being
carried out.
The school collaborates with
NGOs that provide relevant
learning such as: New
Horizonts, Orange, Ovidiu Ro.

In our school are studying
English as first foreign language from
pre-primary cycle and beginning of
secondary cycle, French as second
foreign language.
Our school is involved in national
Eco-Projects (Eco-Terra school,
Day of Environment) with
environmental impact, promoting
recycling of batteries and electrical
components, promoting healthy food
and protecting the environment .
