making significant strides in her field is Dr Meenal Satkar
Sahu.
Dr Meenal’s achievements include being recognized as a

launched a magazine to educate society about health and
wellness. Her passion for providing laser training courses
and promoting the benefits of phototherapy highlights her
commitment to improving the well-being of others. Her

Dr Meenal was born on March 4, 1986, in Bhilai. She
attended Kalibadi for pre-primary schooling and S.S.S. 5
and S.S.S. 10 for primary and secondary education,
respectively. Her father changed residences frequently, and
they were assigned schools based on their living area.
Despite her father's desire for her to become a doctor, Dr
Meenal was interested in interior design. Her family
members were all musically inclined, and her father was a
writer and editor, while her mother was a homemaker, and
her brother was an entrepreneur.
After completing her schooling in 2003 with high marks, Dr
Meenal prepared for medical and engineering competitive
exams but ultimately chose to focus on medical entrance
exams. She spent a year preparing and was ultimately
accepted into a Bachelor of Dental Surgeon program.
Striding through Adversities
Dr Meenal found her graduation years to be a challenging
yet enjoyable experience. While studying was breathtaking,
it was the friendships she developed during this time that
made her feel more comfortable. As one of the pioneers of
her institute, Dr Meenal faced many difficulties and hurdles,
but she learned to be more creative and powerful through
these experiences.
After successfully completing her final exams and
consistently ranking among the top 10 to top 15, she began
her internship. In 2009, she got married to the person she
adored most in her life.
Dr Meenal acknowledges that life is never easy and that one
must face rugged situations at any cost and strive for
betterment. Though dealing with the demands of her
professional career while also managing her marriage was
tough, she persevered and achieved almost everything she
had wanted.

12. Baby Steps Towards a Desired Future
After completing her graduation, Dr Meenal worked as a
teaching faculty in private clinics and colleges, where she
also gave paper presentations and provided clinical training
to students. Eventually, she fulfilled her dream of joining as
a Lecturer at her own institute.
Despite facing many challenges, she never gave up and
remained positive. She began exclusively practising in her
own set-up just one and a half years after completing her
graduation and trained numerous students from her centre.
Dr Meenal Satkar Sahu is an accomplished dental and
cosmetic surgeon with 13 years of experience in the field.
She is also an international researcher for Photomedicine, a
professor at Central Christian University in Malawi, and
holds multiple certifications, including a B.D.S., AFLD
(Singapore), and IFLD (COLL, Germany). Additionally,
she has a Master's in Laser and a PhD in Biophotonics and
is a Laser Therapist certified by COLL, Germany. Dr Satkar
Sahu is also the Coordinator-Chairperson of Dental Health
in the Indian Dental Association for the year 2022-23.
She was born and bought up in Bhilai and did her
schooling, and graduated from Bhilai only.
She is the proud mother of two kids - Drishya and Ishaan,
who are studying in the esteemed institution Delhi Public
School, Bhilai. She lives in a joint family.

diagnosis and treatment camps and provided medical
services too in different schools, industrial premises and
religious places. She is involved in social services, too, with

Also, she is passionate about singing as well and

position. She loves cooking and gardening. Being a doctor!

Strides in the Desired Field
Kavita began working as a communicative English teacher
in 2009 and maintained that position through March 2017 at
a variety of public and private institutions. Then she felt
like she needed a break. She took a long break from April
2017 to December 2018, and that period of hibernation
helped her better understand who she was. She went
through a transitional phase before emerging as even more
creative and productive than before.
All those journeys Kavita took on her own to a few nations
where she had also worked for a while had given her access
to more new opportunities. Her life took a complete 180-
degree turn as a result of these experiences; all of her views
changed, she developed emotionally, and the spiritual side
of her was revealed. Her work life also underwent a big and
spectacular redirection when she decided to pursue her
passion for the English language as a career.
Kavita obtained several titles in the years 2018–2019, and
even in January 2020; she was named a Global Education
Influencer, Global Goodwill Ambassador, and Global Peace
Ambassador. Additionally, on January 5th, 2020, she was
recognised as an award-winning author of the book
‘Spiritual Fitness Survivor.’
Kavita became more aware of her priorities and the
necessity of self-love and discipline in her life as she
continued to accept herself fully. She now understands that
anything is possible if one has the right desire, practise,
commitment, hard effort, determination, positivism, smile,
trust and faith in God and in oneself.
She established her organisation, Global Language- The
Academic Partnership LLC India, in October 2019. Her first
step was to become self-employed, self-disciplined, and
motivated to teach ESL (English as a Second Language).

In Kavita's own words, "I build the module, activities,
teach, meet people, grow my network, and relationships in
Global Language-The Academic Partnership LLC India. I
currently offer online English language sessions for a
variety of age groups, ranging from 4 to 60. I also have
plans to launch a classroom-based programme. As a lone
proprietor, I am responsible for all of the duties, which
teach me, define me, and shape who I am. And because of it,
I adhere to the motto ‘Growing Better Never Stops.’”
“Starting an institution is not a child game, and I realised it
between 2019-2021 because the idea of starting an institute
started in 2019, but in the middle of the pandemic, it
became an online sensation, and the tough time was the
initial stage where I had to take it to the next level as a solo
proprietorship because a journey from a teacher to an
Educator and an Entrepreneur,” she adds further.
She always states, “My passion is my profession. We all
know that education is a must, and over on top of that, the
essence of effective communication skills is the need of an
hour, and that’s what made me think from a different angle.
I have served as a Communicative English teacher in
different schools, colleges, freelance, and even as an
Assistant Professor in my teaching journey of 15 years, but
as you can see, it’s specifically in the English Language,
and yes, that’s my niche.”
Kavita’s vision is to make a community of enthusiastic
listeners, speakers, communicators and skilled society who
can always be ready to grab the opportunities for their
career, job, education, business and so on with the help of
interesting, interactive and effective communication, and
more a teaching community who should be first a listener,
and a learner and a patient educator.
Her mission is to make communication, especially with the
use of languages, in a certain way so that people love to
listen, talk and be provided with multiple opportunities so
that they can learn a culture and a language while
experiencing it through the cultural and student exchange
program across the globe.
Learn, Unlearn and Relearn
Challenges have been the first step to success for Kavita
because, from her school days, her pronunciation of certain
words was different. She used to be quite a good reader, but
that always made her a topic to get bullied by some of her
classmates. But when she looks behind the timeline, she
realises that she actually made a journey with skill in its
rightful manner. She is still learning, unlearning and
relearning for the next big steps.
If education provides certifications, name and fame, then
effective communication skill provides opportunities across
the globe. Mastering something is different, but having an
attitude with an aptitude makes the difference. Kavita
believes that to acquire a skill, one doesn’t need to be
educated, but just the three simple steps of learn, unlearn
and relearn are enough.
For now, making English language learning and other
foreign languages interesting, interactive and effective with
collaborations across the globe is in her future plans. Kavita
is also keen on providing Languages, Linguistics and
Translation services of GL-TAP (Global Language-The
Academic Partnership) B2C & B2B and adding more
programs and courses based on English as a Second
Language and English for specific purposes. She is
planning to prepare more trainers for enthusiastic and
passionate English language teaching through the course
while opening job opportunities with Global Language as
well.

Venturing in the Educational Field
Ms Anuradha Patil completed her MBA with Finance and
Agribusiness specialisation in 2014 from Chhatrapati Shahu
Institute of Business Education and Research, Kolhapur.
For a brief period, she was working to submit her M.Phil
thesis at Shivaji University; however, due to some
unforeseen reasons, she had to withdraw her admission.
However, that was the period she gained insights into
research and academics in general, and that caught her
attention.
Further, she decided to get into academics in 2017. She
started her first job as an Assistant Professor at Sanjay
Ghodawat University, Kolhapur. She served that
organisation for about five years. Through these five years,
she experienced tremendous personal growth. As it was her
first full-time job being an assistant professor, she could
learn many things throughout. She still remembers the first-
ever lecture, which was about communication skills.
Ms Anuradha published her first research article at an
international conference organised by JBIMS, Mumbai.
Subsequently, she published three more papers at other
International Conferences that same year. Her research
domain mainly focused on ‘Agritourism.’ She stumbled
upon the Agritourism domain while surfing for the M.Phil
thesis, and ever since has fascinated her.
She qualified for UGC-NET in 2018 in Management. In
2018 itself, she was awarded a ‘Best Paper Award’ for
‘Potential Growth of Agrotourism using Online Traveling
Platforms’ at ICSGUPSTM-2018, Goa. Ms Anuradha was
also awarded the ‘Promising Young Faculty’Award at

students. With the right type of training and mentoring,
these students can do wonders in their lives.
She believes it is her professional mission to make learning
fun and interesting for these students. She has always been
trying to organise student development activities,
workshops, training etc., to provide a platform for these
students to learn beyond the curriculum.
Preserving Noble Values in Adversities
The biggest challenge that Ms Anuradha faced as an
educator was not getting her dues in terms of financial
aspects. Teaching remains to be treated as a ‘Noble’
profession. She believes this point of view restricts the
financial growth of educators. It takes a tremendous amount
of effort to prepare the next generation of citizens. She feels
that it is important to acknowledge the fact that even though
teaching is a noble job, an educator needs to be valued at
par with other professions.
Ms Anuradha advises students, “Don’t be afraid to ask for
help. Many students face personal problems in life, and they
lack the ability to talk about them to their peers. They need
to make sure they have a safe place wherein they can pour
their hearts out.”
“Secondly, try to enjoy this journey of life. Many students
burden themselves with the expectations of parents,
teachers, peers, friends etc. ‘You do you.’No one can be
you. That in itself is your superpower. Don’t forget to have a
balanced life rather than having a successful life.
Everyone’s definition of success and happiness is different.
Do not try to mimic anybody else’s life. And lastly, do not
forget to adjust your expectations to the realities of life.
Adjustment is not a bad word. Compromise is not a curse.”
Ms Anuradha’s undivided attention for next year will be to
complete her PhD degree in the field of ‘Agritourism.’ She
intends to start an Agritourism farm sometime in future. She
also plans on creating a platform wherein student
development activities can be shared on a common stage
for all students, irrespective of their educational
background.

DY PATIL INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY,
I HAVE CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS
UPDATING THE COURSE CURRICULUM
OF MARKETING, IB AND GENERAL
MANAGEMENT SUBJECTS.
During her tenure at Sanjay Ghodawat University, she has
successfully organised over ten domain-specific programs
for students; Supervised and Coordinated MBA and BBA
students in National Level Symposium and Techno-
Management fest- VIBRANT; Organized ‘International
Immersion Program’ with Stamford International
University, Thailand in January 2020. She has also
coordinated the implementation of ISO for educational
institutions.
A Rewarding Journey
Ms Anuradha has also served as an internal auditor for ISO
implementation in SGU. In 2022, she joined DY Patil
International University in the School of Commerce and
Management. She has been conducting lectures in the
domain of International Business, Fin-Tech, and Marketing
Analytics.
During her tenure at DY Patil International University, she
has contributed towards updating the course curriculum of
Marketing, IB and General Management subjects. She was
also coordinating the admissions processes for the MBA
program and was also responsible for the registration of the
university in ABC/NAD-Digilocker. So far, the journey in
the field of education has been extremely rewarding for her.
Ms Patil has been able to give her 100 per cent towards
each and every responsibility that was endowed on her.
Her paternal grandfather was a Zilla parishad school
teacher. There was always a great influence of his teaching
on her life. He was the one who inculcated the thought in
Ms Anuradha of being in the field of education.

Striving for Societal Empowerment
India has a rich history of social
activism. Examples of selfless
people devoting their lives to
ensuring social integrity have been
common throughout the history of the
country.
Ms Madhuri Moyde is one such name
who has over 25 years of experience in
teaching chemistry at schools of
repute, along with serving various
causes to uplift the society. She has
been teaching the students CBSE and
IGCSE (Cambridge Education) syllabi
through modern teaching techniques
and has been able to impact the lives of
more than 200 kids by sending them to
schools.
Apart from her passion for education,
till now Madhuri has done four
plantation drives and planted many
trees.
Vijay Social Welfare Society
(VSWS), an organization founded by
Madhuri, has donated around 5000
sanitary napkins, and conducted
awareness campaigns to 20 schools
and 15 Aanganwadis to educate girls
on menstruation and hygiene. She has
spoken to more than 4000 girls and
women and distributed sanitary
napkins every month for free.
Through interactions, workshops,
seminars, and trainings with
communities, we make people aware of the
need to protect the environment, the need
to have proper education and skills to bring
about a better living for themselves and
their children.

29. Over the past two years, when the
children's education was compromised,
VSWS under the guidance of Madhuri
conducted classes, workshops, and
webinars to teach the importance of
mental and physical health, like self-
defence, career opportunities, diet and
many more.
Through interactions, workshops,
seminars, and training with
communities, VSWS and Madhuri
make people aware of the need to
protect the environment and the need
to have proper education and skills to
bring about a better living for
themselves and their children. One
such instance is the awareness
programme to promote eco-friendly
Ganesha immersion. A workshop was
arranged to teach people and reflect on
the importance of eco-friendly
Ganesha immersion to save water
bodies.
Recently Madhuri successfully
organized a free eye camp along with
Choithram Netrayal for the elderly
people with 112 registrations, and 33
cataract patients were operated free of
cost.
Additionally, a health camp was
organized on international Women's
Day 2023 for more than 300 ladies.
Recently Madhuri also launched a
mobile application with the help of her
I.T. team in her initiative to combine
the information and contact details of
NGOs in Madhya Pradesh. This app
will help many people in need.

Making a Large Impact on the
Society
Ms Madhuri has been instrumental
in making an impact on society. With
her efforts, more than 10,000 girls
and women from vulnerable sections
of society were trained under the
Menstrual Hygiene Management
Program, along with the free
distribution of sanitary pads.
Under her aegis, around 5000 cloth
bags were also distributed to create
awareness about the harmful effects of
plastic on the environment and more
than 250 saplings have been planted
and taken care of every year by her
team for the last ten years under Green
Indore Campaign.
More than 10,000 children of the age
group, 7-16 of Govt schools, slum
areas and Aangawadis, were made
aware of child abuse, good touch, bad
touch, and child helpline. Ms Madhuri
aims to keep pursuing all of her
projects until she reaches out to many
people.
