SPATIAL EARTH has been establish with a purpose to add a
‘spatial’ aspect in the consultancy and implementation of Geographical
Information System (GIS) & Remote Sensing technologies in work.

Global Positioning System (GPS).
 In 1973 the U.S. Department of Defense decided to establish, develop,
test, acquire, and deploy a space borne Global Positioning System (GPS).
The Global Positioning System
(GPS) is a worldwide satellite
based radio navigation system
formed from a constellation of 24
satellites and their ground stations.
It’s used to determine accurate
geodetic position & altitude on the
earth surface.
Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS)
For the DGPS based ground control points, initially one
base point was selected as per the standard norms at
Ambegaon near Alephata, Pune.

Study Area
Kundewadi is a Village in Niphad Taluka in Nashik District of
Maharashtra State, India. It belongs to Khandesh and Northern Maharashtra
region . It belongs to Nashik Division . It is located 40 KM towards East from
District head quarters Nashik. 206 KM from State capital Mumbai Kundewadi
Pin code is 422303 and postal head office is Niphad .
Kundewadi is surrounded by
Sinnar Taluka towards South , Chandwad
Taluka towards North , Dindori Taluka
towards west , Nashik Taluka towards west .
Ozar , Sinnar , Nashik , Manmad are the
nearby Cities to Kundewadi.
Research Topic : "LAND-USE LAND COVER MAPPING FOR
SMART VILLAGE USING GIS IN KUNDEVADI VILLAGE, TAL
NIPHAD, DISTRICT-NASHIK, MAHARASHTRA."
Project Steps :
1. Image pre-processing, Geo-referencing and
rectification:
The data
should be collected
from Google Earth
with 28 tiles and this
tiles simultaneously
girding and Geo-
referencing. Those
tiles are separately
download and all
mosaic in ERDAS.
Process should be
shown in figure as
follows:
Kundewadi selected for smart villages in Nashik District.
Boundary should be provided in gram-panchayat.
2. Boundary of Study Area
Land use land cover classes has been defined by satellite
imagery and understanding of geographic location. LULC
classes are as follows:
1. Agriculture with crop
2. Agriculture without crop
3. Settlement
4. Vegetation
5. Water-bodies
6. Road, Railway
7. Well, Farm-pond
3. LULC Classes.
Below I have shown one of the examples of how to show different
classes. And shown "Agriculture with Crop."
The procedure to do that is shown in following steps:

RESULT AND DISCUSION
The land use categories such as built-up land, agriculture, water body,
wasteland and other have been identified and mapped. People utilized the land
for agriculture purposes.

CONCLUSION
The present study shows that GIS based land used and land cover
mapping is very effective tool. The high resolution satellite data such as
good source of provide information accurately and give the perfect
solution. Based on results following suggestions need to be considered-
i. Wastewater planning.
ii. Ground water table increase.
iii. Solid waste management.
iv. Increasing the number of trees and planning.
v. Increasing agriculture land.

Image pre-processing, Geo-referencing and rectification: The data should be collected from Google Earth with 28 tiles and this tiles simultaneously girding and Geo- referencing. Those tiles are separately download and all mosaic in ERDAS. Process should be shown in figure as follows:

The high resolution satellite data such as good source of provide information accurately and give the perfect solution. Based on results following suggestions need to be considered- i. Wastewater planning. ii. Ground water table increase. iii. Solid waste management. iv. Increasing the number of trees and planning. v. Increasing agriculture land.
