1933 Hitler was democratically elected Chancellor of Germany
1935 Nuremberg Laws took away Jewish citizenship & rights
1938 Kristallnacht, riots destroyed Jewish businesses. Jews arrested
1939 Hitler invaded Poland, and forced Jews into Ghettos
1941 Hitler invaded Russia, and began mass killings
1942 Hitler met with SS in Wannsee, signed the Final Solution
1945 Hitler killed, camps liberated

5. Final Solution
1. Round up Jews throughout Europe
2. Deported them by trains to Concentration Camps
3. Strong men & women were sent to labor camps
4. Weaker ones and children were sent to gas chambers
5. Bodies cremated in ovens to hide the evidence
