Job Description
Head Housekeeping Supervisor
Business Development Executive
Manage 40 workers in Housekeeping department, 10 workers in Laundry department
Manage 250 guest rooms, public area and meeting rooms
Manage whole department in the absence of Executive HouseKeeper
Assist in the evaluation of yearly budgets and financial operational business agenda to improve general business
requirements of the division
Assign tasks to the Room Attendants and show presence on the ‘floors’
Check the maintenance of the equipment used by the employees and ensure that it is cleaned and stored correctly
Ensure the correct and economical use of cleaning agents and their safe storage and that the all day to day
maintenance is reported promptly and followed up
Ensure that all vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, general cleaning is done in a professional manner and according
to established schedules
Responsible for implementing trainings of all team members and ensure they understand the purpose of their role
and standards required
Thorough knowledge of all the products and services provided by Housekeeping
Check for VIP rooms
Make Schedule for preventive maintenance
Conduct Training for the Supervisors
Assist House Keeping Manager in achieving and exceeding goals and targets set for housekeeping
Plan and conduct public relations program designed to create and maintain favorable public image for the hotel
Effective contract with customers
Maximize revenue
Increase sales. Analyze market segmentation for effective sales blitz
Strong relationship with customers by arranging PR party
Purchase advertising space and time as required
Represent the hotel during community projects and at public, social and business gathering
Disseminate facts and information about the hotel’s activities
Prepare reports and report to the management on a periodic basis
Implement programmes to support and expand the Hotel’s membership base
