Working Title:
My work/product line will be called Gentleman Invader which will be my line of clothing designs
and all to do with art, with the title it can be summed up as something to do with males and space
invaders, so it would be the space invaders with a moustache, so this would really be aimed at
males rather than females. But I will also aim products for females to reach my target audience.
Product’s Purpose:
My product’s purpose is a clothing brand with my own designs and work on it, so its purpose is to
show off and inspire other people to find a talent so they can do something similar. That way it will
show off my artwork and digital art will be incorporated into the t-shirts. I will achieve this with my
skills I have gained in photoshop and drawing skills that I have gained through practising and
watching tutorials and inspiring myself to do great things, also it will be educational because it will
help people find their talent and to do that they will have to practise and watch tutorials on what
they are trying to improve.
Genre:
The genre of my product is that of fiction, the designs I will implement are characters from comics,
games and even films. The products will showcase heroes and villains alike, maybe people will
enjoy and like the designs that I will create within photoshop. The characters I would like to
implement into my designs are heroes such as batman, goku and thor, I choose those three
heroes because everyone knows of them and all three are different and unique in their own way.
Then the villains are a space invader, joker and cell, I thought these designs would be eye
catching and would stand out from the other designs.
Content
My products will contain fictional characters which I have briefly mentioned in genre, so for my first
design it will be a rotoscope of batman on either a front view or a side view. The colours used for
the rotoscope will be dark as batman wears dark clothing, then for the other designs I will use
other techniques that can be used within photoshop. The space invader I will do will be done within
pixels and I will incorporate my gentleman invader into the design so with that the space invader
will have a moustache. Then for the actual t-shirt colour it will depend on what colours have been
used so for the batman rotoscope I would make the shirt white. Then also I should also incorporate
the logo (gentleman invader) within the designs so on the tag or somewhere on a tag on the shirt.
With one design I hope to use my drawing so I could draw it straight into photoshop using the
drawing pad or scan it in straight from the paper.
Audience:
My audience is aimed for both genders but with the brand name gentleman invader it may put off
the females but I will make sure to design some products with females in mind other than that I
think all the products will be suitable for both genders. The age range I have recommended is 14+
I choose this age range is because some of the products may not be suitable for people younger
as it may have some references or some of the themes that I may include. The psychographic for
this product is an emulator because everyone who likes the designs and the products they will
have something in common with someone else who is intrigued by the designs and they will talk
about it and will want to fit in with others. Then the social status for the audience will be balanced
as I would try and make sure people of both social statuses will like the product and that it will
stand out for both groups. I will also aim to inspire my audience to create something that can be
incorporated into something such as a t-shirt like what I am doing or something different.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
The products that I will create won’t have any offensive material included within it. I won’t restrict
the younger audience from looking at the designs but in my opinion the younger audiences below
14 may not get some of the images or won’t be interested with what is going on in the designs or
appreciate the work that went into it such as the steps taken to achieve the final piece and
complex techniques that are necessary to finish the design. I wouldn’t think that my designs would
offend any social groups, religions or ethnicities. I am not sure if batman offends any religions or if
any of the other design ideas. I will ensure that I won’t offend anyone by not including any offence
material such as not including any racist material, I will not scrutinize any religious views with any
offensive designs which could possibly include images of anything sinful. Then I will make sure I
don’t offend any social status by having jokes or any offensive words, the brand name gentleman
invader may be classed as sexist but to make sure I don’t offend anyone I will include designs for
females which could be a branch off for women so the women’s section could be called lady
invader. Some designs will include some characters such as batman, joker, thor and goku so to

avoid copyright infringement I will have to do my own twist on the designs so rotoscopes, filters
and other techniques will be used so it is different to the original image.
