2. Audience Profile
As briefed to us at the start of the project, my audience is 16-19-year olds.
My game won’t particularly restrict younger audiences from playing,
however there will be minor elements of violence and gore within the
gameplay, but no particularly gruesome deaths, likely just puffs of smoke if
an enemy is slain. This means that it’ll appeal to younger audiences as well as
teenagers, allowing for a more popular consensus overall from both parties.
The simple concept I intend to create for my product means it should appeal
to gamers and non-gamers alike, as it doesn’t require a huge amount of focus
and dedication to be Intune with the goings on within. Finally, with the huge
popularity of games found on the mobile market along side this simple
concept I have in mind, I believe this game would be best suited for mobile
users, especially seeing as I’ve marketed it towards teenagers whom of which
seem to have a dangerous addiction to their phones. This will allow gamers
and non-gamers alike to access the game anytime, anywhere during
moments of boredom or stress.

7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Loss of valuable timeline footage and or written
work.
Backup work on multiple platforms.
I may happen to work on a computer which isn’t
installed with the software I need to edit.
Simply move to a different computer, which does
have the software I require.
I may make a stupid mistake whilst editing my
images
Continuously save work whilst editing to make
sure that its still salvageable, or use the step
backwards command to revert the error.
The computer could crash due to the amount of
software being used to work on.
Always save work multiple times in multiple
locations, e.g. send it to yourself.
Some images may not be accessible when
editing in photoshop.
Create the images using the software provided, it
may take longer but you can create it to your
exact specifications.
8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
I may corrupt my work due to spillages of food
or drink on my storage hardware, which would
also most certainly damage the computer
Don’t drink or eat near such vulnerable
technology and always save work in multiple
locations to resolve the issue before it even
occurs
Eye strain may occur from looking at a screen
for far too long
Take a break away from the screen once in a
while, or else it could lead to permanent eye
problems
Back strain is a possible issue from sitting on a
chair for too long
Stand up, stretch and get some much needed
mobility exercises, or else this cloud also lead to
permanent damage
Hands could possibly begin to ache in pain
from typing up documents for too long
Take a break away from the keyboard and
stretch your hands, otherwise arthritis could be
a serious potential issue in later life (in extreme
cases)
Editor's Notes
List age, gender, ABC1/C2DE etc (as appropriate).
Include images as appropriate to illustrate your target audience
Use https://yougov.co.uk/profileslite#/ for similar games to list audience desires/interests and how you will appeal to them through your game.
Explore colours and pixel art styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss these elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to.
Mock up of a potential design using the colours and sourced images. Alter this slide to make it appropriate for your planned product types. Use the content established in your style sheet to do this.
