2. Style sheet
For my product I am going to focus on using
the colours red and blue so that there is a
constant colour scheme used on my design
and because the two colours I’m using are
both bright colours it will help to attract the
audience and look more appealing because of
how the two colours look together. The
colour red is to represent that this magazine
has been made by me whereas the colour
blue is going to be mainly used for the
purpose of looking astheticaly pleasing for my
audience and to increase the amount of
copy's of my magazine are sold.
3. Layout 1
Have information scattered around the
cover e.g. advertisements for game
products, games, the studio “Naughty Dog”
and the main topic the game “The last of us”
I will use an image form the game “the last
of us” or from an advertisement for the
game as a background so that the audience
know that this will be the main topic of my
magazine before they have read anything.
This should also help to attract a larger
target audience and stand out from any
competitors magazines nearby.
Title will be designed to be bold and to be
the first thing the audience looks at when
they notice the magazine. This means the
title will be one of the most important
features of my product because it will not
only be the turning point of weather the
audience chooses to look further into my
magazine or just walk away but it will also be
designed the same on all my future ones to
so that the audience can easily tell from a
distance that the magazine has been made
by me
4. Layout 2
This page shows where i will
be placing my borders where i
will be adding advertisments,
barcode and shapes. The
shapes on my magazine E.g.
ceircle will be used to get the
audiences to focuse on
important infomation such as
special offers and deals. The
borders that are on the top
and bottom of my design will
be used as templates to put
advertisments that will attract
a bigger veriaty of people
because my magazine wont
be focusing on just one topic
but multiple
