Working Title: 4321 (related to a football formation)
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: My magazine will educate football fans on the fifa statistics of specific
clubs and player, then I shall compare these ratings to the real world attributes of these
players and see whether or not the rating is realistic for the player’s quality.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Magazine/gaming/football
What sort of product is it
Content: My product is about comparing real world footballers to their fifa counterpart, e.g.
I basically discuss whether particular players are worthy of their current fifa stats or if they
deserve either a downgrade or an upgrade. I shall be primarily focused on the players who
made it into this years, team of the year (TOTY), where basically a team of the best players
in world football make up a starting 11, from the goalkeeper all the way up to the attackers.
These players are given significant upgrades as to entice fifa players to spend real world
money, to try and attain these premium cards and although these maybe the best players in
world football, I will try my best to critique their incredibly over powered stats in game and
compare them to their real world qualities.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: Primarily my product will be aimed towards the male demographic, between the
10-30 year old age bracket. I specifically chose this target audience because, I believe from
personal experience malesbetween this age bracket have more free time to themselves to
play video-games and those of which who love football, will also spend a significant
amount of their time playing football orientated games, especially fifa which is definitely the
most popular in that category. It allowsthe player to go head to head with other players
online, or manage their own football team, or even play through an entire footballing career
as themselves which older, more mature people simply don’t have the time to do. On top of
that, I chose the male demographic as they are more likely to show an interest in a game
like this, in no way am I saying femalesdon’t enjoy football, I’m 100% certain that many do,
however football as a whole is a more of a masculine sport, with a larger following of male
supporters; therefore females would go under my secondary audience bracket. Finally
when it comes to social status anyone who is anyone, can purchase my product. Football is
an incredibly accepting sport, usually referred to as the world’s game, therefore leaving
anyone out would destroy the context of that name entirely. Some of the greatest
footballers in history have come from unfortunate backgrounds, so if I were to leave
anyone out (based on social status) it would make people from those particular
backgrounds feel left out and unworthy, which I don’t intend to do.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
ď‚· In no way is my magazine going to be offensive, unless some readers take offense
to me overly criticizing their favourite players, but other than that I shan’t
intentionally include any offensive material whatsoever.
ď‚· My magazine hasa target audience of 10-30 year olds, however in no way will that
restrict older or younger audiences from purchasing or even viewing my magazine.
Of course if it had any offensive material in it I should and I would put a legal age
restriction on the magazine, but it doesn’t include offensive material, it’s a
football/fifa magazine aimed at children, teenagersand young adults.
 My magazine won’t offend any social groups, religions or ethnicities, as like I said
earlier football is the world’s game therefore putting off and or offending anyone
based off these specific criteria, would ruin the context of this name.
 I will ensure I don’t offend anyone by intentionally including any offensive material,
which would put off potential buyers.
ď‚· I will be using images of real world footballers in my magazine and I will also be
using images of club crests, which are essential to my magazine.
 I won’t be done for copyright infringement, as using imagesof real world footballers
who are publicised about each and every day in every form of media under the sun,
is not the same as using a copyrighted song or movie clip.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
