HAVE HAD TO MAKE• My chosen location for my film opening was The
Dubai Marina Shown in the picture on the right.
• The reason I could not get permission was because I
would have needed to contact the Dubai
governement to get a special filming permit.
• Firstly this costs a lot of money and secondly I didn’t
have the time in my production schedule to be able
to go through the process of contacting the
government.
• To simplify and make the process easier I chose a
location where I didn’t need a permit to film.
• All my film opening needed was the café where the
spy met the buyer which I could choose any location
that allowed me to film it
• I choose The Springs which is close to my house
3. NEW IDEAS
• A new idea I have had for the chase sequence part of my film
opening was to get the spy to get to do a back flip because
this shows he is fit and creates meaning that hes an action
super hero without having violence in my film opening.
• I was searched action sequences in films to come up with this
idea.
4. THE PROGRESS OF MY PRODUCTION
SO FAR
• My production slowed down slightly because I could not get permission
from the government to shoot at the location I wanted to and it was
hard finding another location where I could shoot without needing
permission from the government.
• Overall the production of my film opening is going well and I think the
decisions I have made for costumes and props and actors wont need
changing and will work in my film opening.
