5. This deals with the study of forms & features of
different plant organs such as roots, stems
leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits etc.

6. The study of detailed structure of tissues
making up a particular organ is called
histology.

7. The study of gross internal structure of plant
organs as seen in a section is called Anatomy.

8. This deals with the various function that the plants perform.
Functions may be vital or mechanical. Vital functions are
performed by the living matter, the protoplasm and the
mechanical functions by certain dead tissues without the
intervention of the protoplasm.

exists between an individual plant or a plant
community and its surroundings.
