2. Process
With my first experiment I decided to make a simple animation, this design was inspired by
F1/Racing starting lights. The tools I used were simple and this animation was done quickly. I
created a big black square with the shape tool and proceeded to make 16 circles organized like
the f1 lights would be like. I moved the red circles down each row every frame. Then at the end of
the animation the last circles turn green to suggest that its encouraging you to go.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– The elements I will use in my final product is the
whole design and idea of the lights flashing as I
will try and focus on a racing game
4. Process
With the second experiment I
decided to do a more complex
animation which involved the
background moving to try and
show that the car is moving
through a location. I had to
design the background in
another Photoshop document
and then paste it into the other
document to make it look like
the car is moving when in fact
the background is larger than
the actual frame

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– An element I will use in my final product will be
the way I used a larger background to give the
effect of the car moving
6. Process
I used my skills from both previous experiments to make a final experiment project,
first I created my scene in one long photoshop document and then placed it into
another photoshop document with the right dimensions. I used the same thing as
the first experiment with the starting lights. I also used this flashing sequence with
the flags I put in for example. Oil flag for upcoming leaks and yellow flags for cars
that spin. I also did this with the finish line checkered flag to symbolize the end of
the race. Overall this game was pretty successful and came out great

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– The elements I will use in my final product will
include the flags that flash up to warn the player
about the objects coming up to dodge
