Looking back at your preliminary task (the
college magazine task/continuity editing
exercise), what do you feel you have learnt
in the progression from it to your final
product?

2. Research and Planning
• Through research and planning, I developed an
understanding of how a professional product would
look.
• I researched techniques that were used in Urban
Thriller films and worked out how to add them to my
work
• This allowed me to create a more professional
product
• This also allowed me to plan my product well

3. Construction
These screenshots show the difference between my prelim task and my final
product. In the prelim the camera was handheld and nobody wore a costume. In
our final product, we used a fig rig to stop the camera from shaking and people
wore costumes to make the characters fit the genre.
