3. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
• An advantage is that you can edit your pictures by quite a lot , this is a good
thing as you get to create the best version with the tools on offer.
• You aren't limited to what you create as there is so many holiday's and themes
for example mine is a Christmas theme but someone may create a Halloween
themed poster.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• You may not like your final design and you don’t have much time to change
it.
• You may need help with your design as it may be too complicated

4. Graphic Design Production
The similarities of these 2 posters are that they both have the same primary and secondary color (white
and red) . Another similarity is that these posters both have a slogan , this is because when people think of
coke they will automatically think of the slogan. The final similarity is that they both have the same eye
catchy coca cola Santa.
The differences of thee 2 posters are that the actual coca cola advert
and mine is that they don’t say merry Christmas , this is probably as they
are targeting everyone and every religion there fore they are celebrating
happiness.

6. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
• One advantage is that its quite easy to plan , this is because the advert isn't
very long so you can quickly come up with a short sentence.
• Another advantage is that you get everyone else's input so you get a wide
variety of slogans and catchy sentences.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
One weakness is that you don’t have very much time to say much , so your
advert may not be as detailed as other ads.
Another weakness is that the software can be hard to use , this is
because there are so many different effects and options.

7. Radio Production
• Initial reaction
When I first started this topic I initially thought that
this topic would be a challenge. Over the course of
making our radio advert I found it easier than I
expected. This was because I had help from my
group as well as the tutor. Our group managed to
stay on track and create a decent radio advert based
on coca cola.

Evaluation
I think that our radio project went really well , this is because
everyone contributed there ideas and we ended up with a good
advert. We spent roughly 3 days planning and creating , although
we were given a short amount of time we didn’t waste any with
assigning roles and planning our advert.

9. Video Game Experiments
• Advantages:
This project was fun to do , this is because the
software was easy to use. Another advantage is that
you can make your avatar look quite accurate as you
ca change size of the pencil and the color.
• Weakness:
Only limited to squares as it is pixel art, this is a
weakness as you cant do circles or other shapes
which could be used for body parts such as hands.

• Advantages of working in this medium
• The software is quite easy to use , this is a positive as
then you can get on quicker without getting to grips with
the software.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• A disadvantage is that you can do any other shapes
but squares , this means that it is hard to do eyes ,
head shapes and body parts.

11. Video Game Production
My game is very different to other games but is similar in
some ways to games such as Pac man. One way mine is
similar is that they are both made from pixels however
they are different because you can actually play Pac man.
The one way where my game is similar to most others is
that there is an aim for example get to the flag in mine.
Overall I would say that there are defiantly more
differences that similarities.

12. Video Game Production
Evaluation
Overall I thought that this project was a success , this is because I feel as if I have
learnt many skills about advergames and have developed my skills on photoshop.
My game was based on iron man as well as coca cola , this was because previously
we did a radio advert based on iron man. One skill I learnt was how to animate in
photoshop and create a short game. Another skill I learnt was how to duplicate
layers , this is a very important skill as it saves you a lot of time as you don’t have
to draw out the item again and again.

13. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the
best? Why?
• The radio advert this is because it actually says coca cola .
This will make it stand out to people as people will
automatically listen to it. However the game and the poster
are both visuals so people may not look at them.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• The poster is the most professional , this is because the coca
cola really stands out , this makes it the most professional as
it will stick out at people if they see it. Another way it is the
most professional is that It uses a coca cola background with
was professionally
made.
