HOW DID YOU USE NEW MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND
RESEARCH, PLANNING AND EVALUATION STAGES?

2. Microsoft Word
 I used Microsoft Word to create my location recces and risk assessments for each
of the three locations I had planned to shoot in.

3. Blogger
 Blogger is the most important website I used throughout the entire coursework.
 I used Blogger to update on any work I was doing and to upload finished pieces.
 I also used the blog to showcase all of my research and planning.
 The blog was very useful for embedding videos and documents from other sites;
allowing me to put all of my work in one place.

4. YouTube
 YouTube has been a very important utensil.
 I’ve used YouTube to find music videos for inspiration for my own video.
 I’ve also used YouTube to find tutorials on how to use Premiere Pro and After
Effects

5. Premiere Pro
 I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit footage together for my music video.
 Through Premiere Pro I synced footage with the music and added effects such as
fades and the audio spectrum.

6. After Effects
 I used Adobe After Effects to create the audio spectrum effect for the instrumental
parts of my video.
 I used this as it was simple and easy to create the effect and then easy to import
into Premiere Pro so I could use it in my video.

7. Photoshop
 I used Photoshop to edit photos for; and then piece together my digipak.
 I used Photoshop as it was easy to use but also had advanced tools such as the
stamp tool which allowed me to create a high standard product.

8. Facebook
 I set up a Facebook page for my artists as a way of interacting with fans.
 It also had the secondary feature of creating a bandsintown account to promote
tour dates.

9. Twitter
 I set up a twitter account for my artists as a primary way of connecting with fans
online.
 It was quick and easy to use and convenient to update from my phone.

10. Wix
 I used Wix to create my website.
 I used Wix because it was convenient as it did not require any coding and had an
AI designer to help me create the website the way it needed to be.

11. iMac
 I used an iMac to create all of my work
 The iMac was easy to use and held all the software that I needed to access.

12. Camcorder
 I used a camcorder to capture all of my footage.
 I used the camcorder as it was 1080p, meaning I would get a HD finish to my
product.
 It was also portable and easy to use, meaning I could travel with it and film in far
away locations.

13. Stills Camera
 I used a stills camera to get all of the shots for my digipak.
 I used the stills camera so that I could get high quality and focused pictures.
