of the audience with appealing to what they like
in the genre. My magazine will compete by
making the front cover and contents more
appealing than the competition in the genre.

3. CRACK MAGAZINE
• Crack will be one of my most significant competition as
it is a well respected regional magazine that highlights
significant events in the region. I have also took
inspiration from crack magazine in terms of font and
layout so it wil be a big competition. I need something
in my magazine that stands out against crack so
audiences will choose my magazine rather than crack.

4. WIRED
• Wired magazine is a monthly American magazine
that focuses on tech and how it influences culture.
It usually has influential people on the cover I feel
like that could disconnect my magazine from the
north east so I will put models that people can
relate to.

5. INDIE
• Indie has the same simplistic style and layout o
will also act as competition for my magazine the
colour scheme I will be different to both crack
and indie so I will fit into a different category
which will attract more of my target audience.
Indie magazine will still be competition but I feel I
can make more relevant content and layout to
attract my audience.
