Philippines.

9.  SOLID WASTE - waste that is dry in form
and is discarded as unwanted. Examples are
plastics, bottles, Styrofoam, containers,
cans, bottles other trashes.

10.  LIQUID WASTE – includes human waste,
runoff, sullage, industrial waste water from
different sources examples are chemicals.
Oils, waste water from the pond.

12.  Biodegradable wastes are those then can be
broken down (decomposed) into their
constituent elements by the bacteria and
other microorganisms.
Examples: human and animal waste
food waste
paper and agricultural wastes

13.  Trash is any discarded item that cannot be
broken down by living organisms.
 It cannot returning to its origins.
Examples: plastic
bottle
old machine
containers
and others

16.  Are safe substances used industrially,
economically etc.
Examples: paper
cardboard
lining
wrapping

17.  REDUCE – to buy less and use less.
 RE-USE – elements of the discarded items
are use again.
 RECYCLE – discards are separated into
materials that may be incorporated into new
product.
