There is also a short

begins, this could be
important information
about the article or added
information about Nicki
Minaj.
I like the colour theme to this magazine as
it all contrasts each other and even
matches Nicki Minaj’s lips which could
reflect her bubbly and girly personality.
However, This article could be classed as
biased due to the ‘girly’ colour them to it.
The costume contrasts against the light
pink background, this makes the artist
stand out more on the page, her whole
body also fills the page from top to
bottom.
I like how the layout
merges into one
page, I also like how
the text wraps around
the model, this looks
more effective rather
than the text being in
blocks.

article has a colour theme of two
colours (Blue and Black) the
question mark and the colour of
the models sunglasses are the
same blue tone, this looks well
thought out and professional.
All of the text is organised
in a square structure, a
quote is inserted in the
middle of all of the text, I
like the layout of this as the
quote will likely be about all
of the text around it.
The model is placed onto on side of the double
page spread, the title of the dps goes across onto
two pages and is the biggest text on the page. I like
this layout as I think the text looks organised by
being in blocks. On some magazine’s dps’
sometimes the texts being in blocks looks boring ,
however the quote in the middle of the text makes it
look creative.
The text of the title and
the costume of the bottom
have the same colour
theme, by using a colour
theme, it allows the
magazine to look not too
busy and consistent. I also
like the way the question
mark is a different colour
to the text, it emphasises
the question being asked
about the model on the
page.

‘Q’ has included two
artists onto its article. I
like the layout of this
as it is full of
information about the
two singers on the
page. ‘Q introduces’
sounds exclusive, this
is effective for
engaging the audience
into reading more into
the magazine.
The writing about
George Ezra and Ella
Eyre has been split by
a prominent black
line, this makes the
magazine’s article
looks neat and also
easier to see which
part of the writing is
about either of the
singers.
Q’s colour theme throughout the whole
magazine is usually black, white and red. The
small boxes placed full of more information
looks effective as some of them are filled with
colour, this gives the magazine more variety to
its design.
The article has positioned its text and
images in square-like fitted boxes, I
like the layout of this article as it looks
neat and professional and also has
loads of information about the two
artists on the page.

represent her bold
personality as the title is a

is positioned giving
direct eye contact to
the audience, by
positioning her like
this and also having
the ranty quote on
the other half of the
page it would make
the readers feel more
engaged within
reading the article
about her. She is
positioned with her
hands on her hips
which could reflect
her attitude towards
the public and
newspapers.
The text is aligned into four boxes, the start
of the first paragraphs begins with a bold ‘I’
which is bigger than the rest of the text, this
shows where the readers should start to
begin reading.
The apparent colour theme on this
article is black,white and red. Lily
Allen is placed in a red shirt which
contrasts against the white/ grey
background. The colour red could
also symbolise her rebellious
personality.
