Warm-up – Pens, Paper, Journal.
1. What does ‘champion’ or ‘hero’ mean to you?
2. Describe a good example of a champion or hero?
Write a short answer (1-2 sentences) for each of the above
questions. Make sure to write the heading, the date and your
name on the page as well.
Homework – Reflective Journal Page 24 and POSTERS
1. Open your green books on page 56 - 59. These are Human
Rights champions; some of whom were shot for their work,
others fired from Dunnes Stores or put in prison.
2. There are 8 Champions. In teams of 3-4, you shall each
write about one of the eight champions. You shall then
divide the paragraph amongst the team and each say a
different part.
3. The purpose is to SELL your champion as there will be a
vote at the end to determine the most important one.
