Ireland.
Heading: Development 5 Date:
2. We shall read pages 134- 136 today, taking notes along the
way.
You shall get to complain about the quality of your internet
by writing a short e-mail in your reflective journals to the
local newspaper.
We’ll then examine an infographic and you’ll be able to start
your homework.
I will discuss your research projects at the end of class as

Plan for today Development 5 Date:
3. I shall need five volunteers today to read. Raise hands at the end
of a paragraph. Take notes as we go.
(note) There is sometimes a limited amount of space in a town
or city. Sometimes people don’t like what would replace an
abandoned building however.
(note) Revitalised: given new life or made more productive.
(note) Ghost estates: unfinished houses built during the Celtic
Tiger. An example of overreaching.
When you are finished the notes, examine the pictures on page
135 and 136. What do you see?
