Question 1:
Video – Some nice detail on how conventions used in production with good
understanding shown of how mise-en-scene used. Good evidence of real product –
Frances Ha - used to highlight argument. Could have used more examples from
other products from genre not just one film.
Question 2:
PowToon – some good understanding of how characters represented and affect on
audience through use of mise-en-scene. Use of theorists would have enhanced
answer.
Question 3:
PowerPoint/SlideShare – some detail on why distributor chosen but no evidence of
research added. Little understanding of audience and distributor profile. Very brief,
lacks images.
Question 4 and 5:
PowerPoint/SlideShare – good use of statistical data but no reflection on data. Basic
detail on potential audience and how they were attracted, and at times relies too
heavily on stereotypes. Little reflection on feedback from audience.
Question 6:
PowerPoint/SlideShare – Some detail on technologies used in filming and editing. At
times detail is too descriptive. Many technologies that were used not covered but
post does show some understanding of what was learnt.
Question 7:
PowerPoint/SlideShare – basic detail on progress from prelim task but good addition
of screen grabs from both products and clear understanding of progress. But was the
camera used in the prelim task basic or were your skills still developing?
Some good detail on questions showing some good understanding of task, audience
and genre.
Good analytical detail, good use of images but lacks good use of research in
answering questions.
Read your work, as there are lapses in spelling, punctuation and capital letters!
Good clear layout throughout but not enough different technologies used.
