beings on the planet.
The few humans
who have survived
are on the run.

Thisis the beginningmonologue

thisone as the plotis inkeeping
withmydystopiangenre andI liked
the ideaof havinga monologue to
give a back storyat the beginning. It
alsogivessmall insightintothe main
character. I findthisone effective
due to the short directsentences
givingthe facts.The endingleads
the audience intothe firstaction
scene.

conversationisalsoshort
and to the pointgiving
minimuminformationto
the audience,thisisalso
an effectivewaytoleave
the audience wantingto
know more.
