3. I used my own canon 600d to do all
the filming for my Short film intro. The
canon 600d I paired with a lens that
had a low enough f stop that would be
able to pick out a person in the dark
light I was filming in. I used its internal
microphone to pick up the actors
voice and then in post production
made the voice hearable and was
also able to get rid of any background
noise. I also paired the 600d with a
zoom lens that allowed me to get
amazing depth of field when shooting
the shot of the whisky glass.
4. I used this tripod with my canon
600d. This tripod allowed me to get
all the shots I wanted and have no

creative with my shots because of
the multiple adjustments you can
make to it.
It also allowed me to do other things
whilst the camera was filming
instead of having to hold the
camera.

6. Premiere pro was the key part to the
success of my short film intro. With
this software I was able to piece
together my short film intro and it
allowed me to further colour grade
the clips. In addition to this Premiere
Pro CC has a new feature that
allows you to edit the audio to a
great extent through the software,
which became very helpful when I
faced the problem of background
7. One of the main tools I used was
‘Magic Bullet Looks’. This software is
a plug in for Premiere Pro CC and
allows you to colour grade your video
footage to the standard of Hollywood
blockbusters. It allows you to add
colour grading layers to different
parts of the camera or in post
production.
Many small production companies
will use this software and it was a
