5. This poster is very colourful this is because
of the target audience which would be
quite young. So bright colours are used to
show its more light hearted than a classic
darker sci fi movie because of the colours
looking inviting and bright background
The logo in gold to show importance and
is in bold font which makes it strong and
masculine and stands out on the poster
Firing weapons and action poses to show
violence which goes towards the genre of
action and sci fi because of the way they
look
6. Colours are dark this is because of the
genre of to film it’s a horror so a lot of it is
dark it also shows this with a lot of
shadow
The main focus is protagonist in front he
also has eye contact with the camera And
the antagonist is in back wearing a cloak
hiding their identity its makes an effect to
look more mysterious
The location of a graveyard shows horror
elements in the poster because of how its
related to hauntings and death.
7. This video game box art Is tinted with
sepia filter which gives it quite a murky
look which is used in a lot of other post-
apocalyptic games/movies. The way the
two main characters are stood holding
hands the girl looks innocent because
she's looking up at the man while the man
is more of a looks like more of a
protective/father role because of the way
he is looking ahead and has a weapon to
keep her safe while in the foreground you
see an arm and half of a body of someone
or something which shows that it’s the
antagonist of this game because you cant
see its face so it mysterious.
8. Soundtrack
• Clip 1
• This makes it seem more like a horror movie because
of the suspense to music creates. When the music is
played with the picture it makes the woman seems
like she's going to kill the man at the end of the
music.
• Clip 2
– This makes it seem more like a romance movie
because of the way the music flows. When the
music is played with the picture it makes it
seem like its leading up to the two people are
about to kiss
–
9. Shining
– In the trailer they use a friendly voice to narrate
the trailer to make it more inviting. For the music
they used an upbeat tune with family friendly
visuals which gives the audience both a positive
vibe about the film from the trailer.
10. Scary Mary
– To keep the audience on the edge of their seats
through the duration of trailer they make all the
clips quick its so quick it makes the viewer think
quickly just to keep up – thus making it feel very
tense. To apply the impact the clips are darkened
with the occasional white flash in attempt to
startle the audience. For the audio they've applied
old and creepy sound affects to create further
suspense.
