2. PROCESS
I first selected what size I wanted my
front cover to be (A4 page). I then
imported one of the images I had taken
and then re-sized it and fitted it to where
I wanted it to be on the page.
I wasn’t sure about which image to use
at first so I experimented to see what
would work best along with the text I
was also planning to include.
I first opened up Photoshop and chose what
size I wanted my front cover to be. In this
case, since I was making a front cover for a
magazine, I chose A4. I also made sure to
set the orientation correctly, the orientation
being portrait. I also made sure that all of the
settings were correct before clicking create.
3. PROCESS
Using the text tool I selected the font
and size I wanted for my title. I then used the same tool to create my
subtitle and placed it underneath my main
title. By using this tool I could easily edit
the text if I wanted to adjust the size or if I
wanted to choose a different font.
4. PROCESS
I then imported an image of a barcode from Google to put
onto my front cover. I decided to use the image of a
barcode because I felt as though it would make it look
like a real magazine. In order to import the image from
Google, I made sure that the Photoshop tab as well as the
Google tab were both open. I then dragged the image I
wanted onto Photoshop and then re-sized it.
