2. FRONT COVER PROCESS
I first imported an image I found online and re-seized
it so that it would fit onto my page.
I then selected the ‘text tool’ and created the text that
I needed e.g. the headline as well as any subtitles that
I wanted to use. I made sure with my text that it was
all the same colour, since I wanted everything to
match well and not just use various colours.
After adding the text I found yet another picture to
add to my magazine cover. I imported it the same
way I did with my other image and re-seized it. I was
able to re-size my images easily by using CTRL+T
and then re-size it with manually with my mouse.

3. REFLECTION
• What elements of your experiments will you include
in your final product?
• I plan to use the same sort of layout of my experiments for my final
product e.g. having the title in the centre whilst having a subtitle
and/or various other captions on the left and right sides of the page.
When using Photoshop I would want to make sure that I try and
download fonts online so that I can try and make my magazine
cover look unique rather than just using the default fonts. I would
also want to include the barcode at the bottom of the page so that it
makes the magazine look more realistic.
4. DOUBLE PAGE PROCESS
I copied and pasted text from lorem ipsum and put
them into a text box. I put the text into columns using
this option:
I was able to import images using the tool and
then resize them if necessary.
I was also able to create this background by using
this option:
This allowed to choose what kind of colour I
wanted my background to be and also gave me the
option to create more appealing backgrounds.
5. REFLECTION
• What elements of your experiments will you include
in your final product?
• I plan to use the same sort of layout of my experiments for my
final product e.g. I would want to have the main title either on
the left or right side of the page since I would want to try and
maximise the amount of space that I have, making sure that I
will be able to fit everything I can onto the page. I would also to
try and download fonts for InDesign as well, so I don’t have to
just use the default fonts.
