I got a chance to work as Supervisor at Engro Fertilizer Expansion Project Dharki (Enven 1.3), which is
world’s biggest fertilizer plant. I was supervising Blasting (Sand blasting, Grit and Garnit blasting, Bead
blasting), Painting, Coat wrapping, Fire Proofing and Cold Insulation activities.
 Sand Blasting & Painting
• Sandblasting, Painting and coat wrapping of Pipe, Structure, Tanks and Furnace were major
activities, and total B.O.Q. is more than 500,000sq.mtr.
• Sandblasting and Priming workshop was established, where five nozzles were operating at a
time, and different painting system were being applied.
• Sandblasting and painting teams were being managed by me.
• Setting priorities, executing activities accordingly, and preparing progress reports, were my
responsibility
 Fire Proofing
• Fire proofing of whole plant was executed under my supervision. Major areas of fire proofing
were
• Furnace
• Structure
• Cable trays and Instruments
 Hot & Cold Insulation
• Hot and Cold insulation of pipe lines and equipments was supervised by me. Major
equipments include Ammonia Storage tank, Vessels and heat exchangers.
QHSE
• QHSE practices were followed and implemented by me. Snamprogetti standards were
followed for Sandblasting & Painting, Fire proofing and Hot & Cold Insulation were
implemented under my supervision.
• More than 3 million manhours were achieved under my supervision without any LWI.
• Adhesion testing, Peal-off testing, Chloride testing, Holiday testing and hardness testing
were conducted to maintain quality standards for Sandblasting, painting and coat wrapping.
• Inspection reports for the above subjected activities were prepared by me after execution.

2. 5 Fauji Fertilizer, Bin Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan Dec 2007 – March 2008
I worked as supervisor with Haseeb Waqas Engineering Lahore, at fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim for D.A.P Belt
Revamp.
• Sandlasting and painting workshop was run under my supervision.
• Sequence of structure and conveyer dismantling were designed by me, and sand blasting and
painting was conducted accordingly to save resources and cost cutting.

I worked as Sandblasting and sleeve coating supervisor at Kadanwari Gas Field, Pakistan.
• K-18 pipe line, from well to gas plant, was blasted and coated under my supervision.
• Standards of ENI were followed for sand blasting and sleeve coating.
• Quality and progress reports were prepared by me.

Sandblasting and painting Supervision was my responsibility.
• Silos, pre-heaters, raw mill, kiln, EPs, Reclaimer shed and Gypsum crushers sandblasting and
painting were my major responsibilities.
• Five teams of painting and one team of sandblasting were supervised by me.
8 Oil & Gas and Power Plant Projects:
As Sandblasting & Painting and Insulation Supervisor, I worked at major Oil & Gas facilities of Pakistan,
with national and multi-national companies. Resource management, Cost and Target achieving, progress
monitoring and invoicing of Sub-contractor was my major responsibilities.
