land, inland waters, and OCSG shelf and deep water. Strong experience in rig operations and
remedial well interventions. Professional expertise strengths:
- Rig operations - Remedial well operations
- Proactive operations improvement - Operations cost reduction
- Project management - Artificial Lift optimization
Professional Experience
Freeport McMoRan Oil & Gas, LLC 2007 – 2016
Sr. Operations Engineer
Negotiated new gas sales point for VR 215. Cost savings of $6.2MMvs. pipeline re-route.
Design and implement completion ofEI 318 andEI 346 wells (5 well project). Initial
production of1400BOPD and 7MMCF/D.
Maintained 70,000+ BOPDproduction from assigned fieldsthrough production optimization
and low-cost well interventions.
Newfield Exploration 2005 – 2007
Production Engineer
Member of drilling and reservoir team for re-development of SMI 49 field after
loss of “B” platform to Hurricane Rita.
Design and implement completion of SMI 49 re-development wells (3 well
project). Result in 700 BOPD increase. Drilled and completed within time
estimate and under budget.
Initiate new compressor installation at SMI 49. Improved run time and
production efficiency of existing out dated compressorstation.
Member of drilling and reservoir team for development of EI 318 and EI 346
fields.
Agip Petroleum, Co., Inc. (ENI) 1998 - 2005
Sr. Workover/Completion Engineer
Successful HWO remedial intervention of GI 102 A-6 to repair parted tubing.
Work was conducted with 3,500 psi wellhead pressure, within budget and with
no accidents or incidents. Restored300 BOPD.
Performed three open-hole horizontal completions at West Delta 89. First open-
hole horizontal completions performed for ENI in the world. Increased field
production from 500 BOPD to 13,000 BOPD. Newly completed wells showed no
recordable BHP drawdown at the sandface.
Completed GB 161 subsea well. Work successfully performed with cost savings
of $600k vs. budget estimates.
2. 2
Successful sub-sea intervention of Yosemite and King Kong wells. Performed
intervention projects with cost savings of $1.2MM by performing transit
between locations without retrieving riser to surface.
