CAREER HISTORY SUMMARY
More than 22 years’ experience in the Petro Chemical, Power Generating, QA/QC, Construction,
Mining, Marine, Aluminium Smelter, Paper & Pulp and Manufacturing industry.
I am currently employed with Hatch at Sasol Synfuels working as part of the EPCM, In Secunda,
as Construction Manager. Specifically I have been involved in the Live plant area at PP1 Sasol
Polymers (Brownfield’s) and the Logistics Bagging plants at PP1 and PP2 Sasol Polymers
(Brownfield’s)
During the project I have been responsible for the various deliverables including Safety, Quality,
Schedule and Cost for the Construction Phase; liaising, assisting and monitoring the Contractors
to drive milestone completion and handover to pre-commissioning and commissioning safely
and on time. I have performed continuous liaison with the construction team and contractors to
ensure deliverables are in accordance with project specifications, standards and procedures.
Further, I have liaised on a daily basis, with operations, commissioning and interface personnel
to ensure Brownfield works are planned co-ordinated and communicated within the operational
environment; to execute the task´s safely and to minimise process interference and production
impacts.

Ltd, AML SL Rail & Port Rehabilitation & Maintenance, Pepel, Sierra Leone.
I was involved in the AML Sierra Leone Rail & Port Rehabilitation & Maintenance
based in Sierra Leone. The section of work that I was involved in was the
replacement of the bridge bearings for two off 3 span 90m bridges on site, a
total of 12 bearing replaced and 12 bearings serviced, the bridges were jacked
for this work. The replacement of two new bridges in remote locations, which
included the removal of the existing steel bridges and installing one 14m steel
bridge and 6.5m concrete bridge. The stabilization of a bridge abutment, the
abutment had tilted and the works included excavations and stabilizing the
existing abutment with anchor block’s and tie rods. Responsible for the detailed
planning of the above described works, the preparation works for the shutdown
and the execution of the works during the shutdown. The shutdown was
scheduled for 7 days and the works was completed 36hours ahead of schedule.
