• As a Certified Surgical Technologist I am responsible for collecting appropriate instrumentation
and supplies required for a wide variety of surgical procedures. I use my knowledge of medical
terminology to ensure that the surgeon has everything he/she will need to complete the indicated
surgical procedure. I relay and receive information from the nurse and surgeon to ensure that the
correct medications, instruments and positioning equipment are all accounted for before the
surgical procedure begins.
• As an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk it was my job to ensure that all clients’ files were up to
date. I was responsible for making sure that these files contained accurate and up-to-date billing
information, as well as correct contact information such as addresses, phone numbers, etc. I was
responsible for entering payments into the Integris System, scanning invoices and relocating those
invoices into the correct files. I was responsible for answering and transferring phone calls to the
appropriate associate and answering any questions a caller might have had about certain products,
invoices, appointment times, charges, etc. I was responsible for greeting prospective clients at the
front desk and ensuring that they were seen in an orderly and timing fashion. I was responsible for
making copies, mailing invoices, printing out receipts and taking payments over the phone or in
person.
