Reason for leaving: Office Closed
• Provide a pleasant and warm experience to patients by greeting them with their name
and welcoming them to the office.
• Efficient in several EMR systems for checking in patients, confirming their insurance,
and collecting appropriate co-pays. Filing appropriate information into the patient chart.
• Review New Patient and Followup Patient intake forms and ensure all of the
information is correct to the patient's knowledge and enter it into EMR.
• Ensure patient accounts are accurate and Co-pays are collected as well as outstanding
balances are corrected and offer patient information related to Company Payment plans.
• Detail to patient checkout by providing a follow up appointment based in the Providers
request and appointment reminders are provided to the patient as well as adequate
printed patient information and receipts.
• Taking inbound calls in a timely manner and also returning patient calls regarding
health concerns, Appointment follow ups and medical concerns related to their illness as
well as medication refills and submitting the concerns to appropriate staff and providers
based on priority.
• Arranging providers schedule based on their availability and need for time off or
extended visits based on the necessity of the patient needs for new patients, follow up
patients, and patients who may need a special procedure.
• Ordering office supplies and office equipment as needed for the staff.
• Triage patient calls based on medical necessity, refer patient to the ER with emergent
concerns and also communicate with staff and providers if patients may or can be seen
on a sooner bases to ensure their care in an effective manner.
• Experiencing in Credentialing for provides and ensuring their accreditation is accurate
with various insurance companies.
• Documentation with all patient encounters and communicating to staff via EMD
messages including incoming and outgoing calls of all conversations.
• Managing inbound faxes and distributing them to appropriate staff such as medical
assistants or providers to sign off so patients can be notified of their results in a timely
and professional manner.
• Calling patients back with providers recommendations on care or need to follow up.
• Opening the office and closing the office to make sure everything has been organized as
well as alarms have been set.
• Eager to work as a team and help other staff regardless of their position to ensure work
is completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide assistants to providers in the event their medical assistant is not available. •
Participated in staff development of required courses for OSHA and HIPPA compliance.
• Trainer and resource for providers and staff for use of the EMT system for current
offices as well as other offices throughout Northwest Allied Physicians.
