Chief of Instrument Department
- Managed Instrument department onboard of various Geophysical vessels. Was
responsible for quality of the seismic data acquired during Geophysical surveys in SE Asia,
Africa, North Sea and Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities also included technical
performance, operations and HSE aspects of the instrument department.
- Served as primary point of contact for Russia business to provide supervision, auditing
and consulting services in Joint Venture with Russian seismic company “GEO-HAZAR” in
the Caspian Sea region. Supervised rigging of the seismic vessel and field operations.
Was responsible for budgeting and cost, planning and scheduling, logistics and Custom
clearance of the imported equipment.
ACHIEVMENTS
Assisted PGS Geophysical to startup Joint Venture in Russia in 1998. Supervised rigging of the
seismic vessel to ensure its completion on time.
3. Supervised field operations that resulted in three successful and profitable years of production
KMNGGR, Baku, USSR 1982 - 1991
Chief Geophysicist-Interpreter
Team lead of geophysical interpretation team and was responsible for interpretation of seismic
data collected from various areas of the Caspian Sea.
