I managed a teamof (9) Purchased Agents and (1) Purchased Coordinator with a spend of $114mm/5000SKU
supported 1 US and two Mexico sites within a web based system. Much time was placed in resolving issues,
optimizing and working with the Buyers and suppliers in determining root cause analysis for failure to perform on the
suppliers’ end while maintaining 7 turns a year, 96.4% or better on time delivery to our customers and a 99.6% quality
rating. Notable accomplishments include the following: Working with suppliers to reach “recovered status” on late
shipments thus enabling the production floor to generateover a $1.0mm in revenue in the 1st month and the
company to maintain silver status or better at Boeing, Spirit and Bombardier, all of which had not been accomplished
since the project start over 3 years ago; Realized inventory reductions of over $ 200k with another $550k identified,
ECD 9/30/2017; Negotiateda sole sourced supplier to transfer inventory from the east coast to the west coast which
reduced safety stock to 1 wk and on hand inventory by $250k-$500k monthly. I was also applauded by the President
of the Business unit as well as floor personnel for the above as well as my ability to identify and resolve gaps in the
department’s function, creating written communications on expectations for the department to meet daily, weekly
and monthly requirements as well as written guidelines for long lead items and devised a communications protocol
for deliveries of material that had a high likelihood to impact customer ship date. I also investigated and determined
the on-line delivery metric results were misrepresenting on time delivery for the site and worked with the team to
correct the glitch which moved the on-time delivery from 40% to 64% to 96.4% in 4 months.

I managed all phases of the procurement spend on multiple projects in the areas of metal fabrication, plastic,
injection molded, power supplies and hardware for USA and China. I mainly worked with Project Managers, Engineers
and suppliers in managed the overall spend, quality, cost competitiveness of assigned commodities within these
multiple projects and interfaced with Manufactured, Product Development and Contract Manufactured to determine
the best sourced solutions for the NPI projects. In this fast-paced environment, I had to prioritize the tasks and
collaborate with multiple teams, departments and corporate to meet the continued needs of the business. To insure
sustainability and attainmaximum value on the spend I would mainly work with Project Managers, Engineers and
suppliers to develop and generatea commodity strategy. The commodity strategy was the roadmap for the year to
insure Supply Chain could deliver on the company’s commitments. To develop a commodity strategyit required an in
depth study to map out the current spend, determine the supplier’s financial viability and capabilities of the suppliers,
market and economic environment. I presented my commodity overview and strategy to management and worked
with Engineers and key stakeholders to execute the project plan and commodity strategies. I institutionalized the
cross functional approach to strategicsourcing for major initiatives. I trained cross functional teams and mentored
staff in the importance of checked on financial viability of current and potential vendor. I managed and ensured cost

material spend for the product development launches and insured the cost, delivery and quality was in alignment

Regional Sourced Specialist (2006-2007) - I managed the sourcing of all equipment above $100k at the Cherry Point
and Carson business units and I was the primary Liaison between Project Management, Global Procurement, the
Procurement Contract Manufacturer (PCM - Jacobs and Fluor) and the sites for Fabricated and Rotating equipment
buys over $100k. I conducted supplier shop surveys to determine capacity and capabilities and I was the
communication link on all activity between the site and the Global Commodity Managers. I was responsible to
accumulate and analyze data, prepare the budget by forecasting the totaldemand through product launches and
sustained phases of implementation and develop strategies in collaboration with the Global team based on product
development activity and current manufactured requirements. I also requested, received and presented cost saving
initiatives to the sites, incorporated training programs, assisted the sites in determining the bid list for non-routine
purchases and used the fishbone approach in the mitigation of significant issues.

sourcing of all major procurements, develop and execute sourced strategies which could include cost and spend

Responsibilities also included to draft formal RFPs, negotiate standard terms and conditions, jointly work with teams
and Legalto reach final approval on the negotiation of all contract terms generatedfrom RFPs, Blanket POs, SOWs,
ESA, MSA, SLA… On higher impact or largedollar spends I applied a systematic strategicapproach to spend initiatives
and utilized the background and experience from cross functional members to develop and implement material
strategies. My leadership experience on cross functional teams’ initiatives allowed me to work and train cross
functional members to develop strategies, mission statements, determine success criteria for source selection,
conduct the financial viability of vendors, develop RFPs, conduct complex analysis, prepare negotiation strategies,
conduct mock negotiations, negotiate and implement the contract with vendors .and continue to monitor the
program and the vendors. It was also my responsibility to provide monthly status reports to executive management

  • 3. I managed all phases of the procurement spend on multiple projects in the areas of metal fabrication, plastic, injection molded, power supplies and hardware for USA and China. I conducted supplier shop surveys to determine capacity and capabilities and I was the communication link on all activity between the site and the Global Commodity Managers.
