The Company:
Within two kilometers of the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Thakher City (12 Billion SAR) will be a
unique and memorable residential and hospitality based environment. The master plan is guided by a unique set
of criteria: the experience of the Hajj pilgrim, vehicular and pedestrian mobility, the geotechnical and site
accessibility issues inherent to the topographic qualities of the mountainous site, and the creation of a robust,
interconnected open space network. The result is an iconic urban form that creates spectacular views toward Al
Haram and Abraj al Bait, maximizes pedestrian accessibility to and from the site and responds to the demands of
the development targets set forth by Thakher Investment and Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.
Duties:
- Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business
objectives and design guidelines.
- Manages program of projects and project managers within a region to ensure successful completion and
coordination of all efforts.
- In cooperation with Vice President, develops program and annual budget for regional capital project
program.
- Prepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorization. Is

My work in the project was divided into two parts:
I. Assistant Development Manager 29 April 2007- 31 October 2009
From early concept till construction stage was working with the project management company Emirates
Investment Group in JV with Sunland Group Limited (Emirates Sunland Group Company). Then;
II. Project Manager (Owner Representative): 1 November 2009- May 2012
From construction till handing over stage working with Emirates Investment Group Company to ensure the
smooth running of work and progress in line with project pan and owners wishes.
The project: White-Bay Umm Al Quwain Project Value: 3.7 Billion Dollars.
- The white Bay development is located in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain northern cost of United Arab
Emirates, approximately 9.5 km northeast of the city center and 50 km north of Dubai. The six phase
project is a multi-purpose residential and resort development complex comprises of man-made islands
(reclamation and Dredging), a marina, various type of buildings, roads, bridges, and a range of facilities for
residential and recreational purposes, to accommodate a population of 28,000 people.

- Project Elements: Five Star hotel, Recreational centers, Residential villas, Commercial Buildings, residential
Buildings G+6 to G+13, Mosque, retirement village, and Marina.
Duties:
- Create development briefs and the vision for various sites and present these ideas in comprehensive Request
for Proposal (RFP) packages.
- Manage the development of financial modeling, analysis and sensitivity studies for various product offerings
mainly in the real estate sector
- Assist in management and servicing of the tendering process in order to develop top designs and innovative
structures
- Commission research reports assessing economic, financial and site specific parameters for various
development opportunities
- Produce and present business plans investigating the viability of various development projects in retail,
residential, hospitality and leisure.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in production of designs, renderings and marketing collateral and presented
- Assist in the management of the development process from inception to hand over including program
management, product pricing and marketing coordination, including review of the Master Schedule, project
budget, cost estimates and financial reporting.

Construction Manager, Engineer, Contractor & operators, and perform administrative activities as directed
by the Owner.

- Assist in coordination of various governmental departments to obtain various permits and site plans.
- Preparing status reports and presenting to upper management.
- Prepare or direct the preparation of progress and special reports to top senior management and operators as
assigned.
- Represent the owner in the change order management process to perform approvals for scopes & changes
related to all project stakeholders as directed by the Owner.
- Keep top senior management informed of project status, highlighting deviations from plans. Anticipates
potential problem areas and analyze and recommend solutions or corrective action.
