To utilize the skills and knowledge that I have acquired during my 30 years of experience as a General Contractor and Lead Designer.
A quick learner that wishes to progress further in my career with a proven, consistent track record of implementing high quality results.
With my ability to efficiently and effectively handle simple to complex property claims with a demonstrated deep understanding and skill related
to each phase of the property build process. Flexibility to work nontraditional hours in conjunction with my skill set will ensure a position as a
Senior Construction Superintendent.
EXPERIENCE
Petore General Construction Senior Superintendent – 2014 to Present
Responsibilities Include;
Supervision, Staffing, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, Developing Budgets, Electronics Troubleshooting, Technical Leadership,
Technical Understanding, Equipment Maintenance, Teamwork, Job Knowledge
• Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as
necessary.
• Coordinate installation, inspections, and repairs of the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems.
• Meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractors.
• Inspect, operate and maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation system and the boiler system.
Englewood Housing Authority Maintenance Supervisor – 2013 to 2014
Responsible for housing construction projects at all properties locations owned by Englewood housing (seventeen properties in total)
ensuring standardization of state code levels.
Responsibilities Include;
• Human resource objectives for scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job
expectations; planning, monitoring, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews;
implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
• Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying
variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments;
identifying problems and requirements.
• Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance
program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative
components and parts.
• Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying,
recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and
regulations.
Mercury National Construction Corp - 2008 to 2013
Commercial Construction Superintendent directly responsible for;
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
 Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
 Communicate with project team regarding RFI’s and Material Submittals.
 Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
 Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
 Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
 Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
 Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
 Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
 Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
 Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
 Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
 Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
