The document describes the process of creating assets for a mobile game. It discusses selecting a calm background color, tracing and modifying Princess Peach's character design, drawing food items and levels, choosing a fancy font, designing a logo featuring the character, selecting a neutral blue background color, and drawing characters and food items using the pencil and paint bucket tools in Photoshop. The creator reflects on liking aspects of the background, character designs, colors, and food images created for the game.
2. Process
I chose this
background because
I really liked the
colour of this
background and it
fits the style of my
game and is very
calm and
aesthetically
pleasing.
3. Process
For this, I traced an image
of Princess Peach using the
pen tool and then I
changed up the colours so
it doesn’t look the same as
the original to avoid
copyright infringement. I
really like my character
design because it looks
really nice and neat also I
love the colours that I have
used as it fits with my style
for the game very well.
4. Process
For my app logo, I
drew some of the food
that will be included in
the game and different
levels as well. I really
like how my food looks
and the design is really
good. I personally like
how the peach turned
out because the shape
is perfect.
5. Process
I used dafont.com to
download the font
that I used which is
called “Chocolate
Drink” which looks like
a fancy style and is
very suitable for the
game. I like the font
because it fits the
game’s vibe well and
the ribbon makes the
text stand out more.
6. Process
This is my app logo
that I made.
Personally, my
favourite thing is the
character design
because I really love
the colours used and is
suitable for the target
audience. The colours
are very aesthetically
pleasing and will catch
people’s attention.
7. Process
I made the background
blue so it is suitable for the
target audience and is not
too bright or dark. Also, it
provides a good contrast
colour for the images that
will be placed on top of the
background. I personally
like the colour because it is
very neutral and calming to
look at as it is easy on the
eye and not too
overpowering.
8. Process
Using the pencil tool, I
made my character using
the squares on
Photoshop and the Zoom
In shortcut to see the
squares. My character
has the same colours
used in the pixel art. It
came out blurry as I
enlarged the image so I
have mixed feelings
about it.
9. Process
Using the pencil tool, I
drew some food that will
be in the first level and
arranged them to be in
different positions.
Personally, I really like
the colours and the style
of the images. I made the
pencil tool to size 1 and
to block so I can draw in
squares. I used the paint
bucket tool to colour in
the images.
