consumer. Therefore, this would be a perfect opportunity
for me to market my product. Not only will I be able to gain
valuable audience feedback from the survey I will be
posting ONLINE, I will also be able to post my final three
products (Music Video; Digipak; and Website Homepage)
on such sites as Facebook and Twitter, gaining extremely
beneficial feedback.
● EDM consumers are greatly hyperactive in their social
media usage, this will consequently allow me to “spread”
my products, will my audience sharing/retweeting my
posts. They may also write/upload their own posts
regarding my products.

There are various ways in which we could link this
theory to Electronic Dance Music. For example:
If you were a DOMINANT READER towards EDM,
you would listen and enjoy the music you heard.
If you were an OPPOSITIONAL READER towards the
music, you could appreciate the music and that some
may like it, however it isn't really for you.
And finally, if you were a NEGOTIATED READER, you
could even love, reject or alter the music due to
previously held views/education.
