Fashion Magazine
Other fashion magazines I have seen have a big title at the top on the front cover,
this often goes over the top of the photo of the model who is on the front I would
like to keep to this style, my main model would be wearing football casual clothing,
I would use a female model to attract more of a balanced audience as it would
attract more females. I would keep the cover in almost bland colours with an
attractive model and piece of clothing to be the main focus of the cover.
The masthead would be in an attractive font and the magazine would be called ’Casual
Clobber’. I could put effect or overlays on the fonts and I will always choose a font and
download one which fits the style.
I would include brands such as Stone Island, CP Company, Pretty Green, fila, Adidas, Lyle
And Scott. This would be part of the retro style of the edition and I’d pick out specific
item which would be seen in this type of culture. I would include things in my magazine
like celebrities seen recently wearing the brands and stories of ‘casuals’ at football games.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• There is a repetition of designer brands and specifically Adidas
trainers. There is also a repetition of clothes which hide identity and
clothes which are durable and could be worn in all weathers.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will help me to choose what type of clothing I will
include in my magazine. It will also help me lay out my front cover
for my magazine which will speed up the process of my work. I may
include a mood board approach to my design layout.

Concept My concept would be a fashion magazine including clothing from the ‘Football
Casual’ dress scene Era including brands such as Stone Island, Cp Company, Pretty
Green Adidas and more. The magazine would also include tales from football
supporters about their most memorable moments of going to football games either
good or bad.

Music Artist. • I didn’t choose my music artist because,
I felt as though I would enjoy doing a
fashion magazine more as it hasn’t been
done before with my subject. I also
think that a music artist for my chosen
scene has also been done many times
before it would just be seen as ‘another
fish in the sea.’
Radio Podcast. • I didn’t do a radio podcast as I didn’t
enjoy doing it the last time and felt as
though I could do a better job at a
fashion magazine.
