2016 Led Kawasaki Motors in Cambodia. Setup new headquarters in Phnom Penh, aftersales
facilities and sales & marketing force.
2013 - 2015 Negotiated, acquired & launched the Indian and Victory Motorcyclebrands in Malaysia.
2007 – 2010 Re-launched the Harley-Davidson brand in Malaysia under Harley-Davidsonof Kuala
Lumpur. Responsible for acquiring and launching of all three (3) major American
motorcyclemarques in Malaysia - Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycleand Victory
Motorcycles.
2010 Organized the first Southeast Asian Harley Owners Group Rally in 2010. Coordinated the
participation of six countries and liased with all relevant government departments i.e. TDC,
PDRM,KDM, etc. This event attracted 450 riders from across the region with a route
covering Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.
1997 - 2002 Regional manager responsible forthe business of Audio Accessories forPhilips Consumer
Electronics(SEA)Pte Ltd. Accountablefor the growth and distribution of Audio
Accessories and Recordable Media throughout 16 countries. Exceeded the business of
Europe in 2001.
1994 - 1997 Launched the Astro Satellite Decoder in Malaysia whilst working withPhilips Electronics.
Responsible forthe training of the first 200 installers and the distribution of the first
50,000 set-top boxes forPhilips and Malaysia Broadcast NetworkSystems (MBNS).
1970 – 1983 Black belt in Taekwondo. Was an instructor at age 15 withthe Kedah Taekwondo
Association.
1975 – 1979 Voluntary commando training with the Tentera Melayu DiRaja for 3 years. Was the
youngest NCO in the Country in 1975 (Age 12).
1974 – 1997 Middle and long distance runner (15 years, 6km - 25km distances), Inter-university
Squash (3 years), KL league squash player (6 years), Archery (3 years, competed with
Selangor B team as a guest).
1987 - Present Riding superbikes (above 500cc) since 1987. Currently riding a Harley-Davidson Ultra
Classic ElectraGlide daily to work.
