COVER LETTER
My name is Christina Brown and I am in the process of transitioning in the
workforce. I am originally from New York and moved to Maryland in 2012 to be
with my family. Eventually I moved to Frederick and recently got married. My
husband and I have 3 beautiful girls and in my spare time I serve at my church
and my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.
I have worked in the Hospitality Business with restaurants for many years and
would like to apply my current customer service skills to a new job field. I would
like to enter a more professional environment doing administrative or office
work.
Although I have very little work experience in an administrative role, I have
knowledge of all office procedures and excellent organizational skills. I have also
maintained daily operations of monetary deposits, conducted all filing, copying
and scanning of employee files, maintained invoices, input data into a computer
system and have done ordering of merchandise.
I consider myself to be a self-starting, goal oriented strategist in which my
confidence, perseverance and vision will ultimately promote my success. I am a
hard dedicated worker and am excited to go into a new job field and learn new
things.
At this point in my life I haven’t found stability in a job that I really enjoyed and
am just looking for a chance to utilize my skills in a new job field with a growing
company.
