Technical Sales Manager – SEA.
Responsible for Technical Sales support in South East Asia for Completions and Production
systems, including the following countries, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Brunei, Bangladesh,
Singapore and Vietnam. This role included support for OH and CH Completions and Production
systems for ALS, including RRL, PCP, GL, Hydraulic Lift, Plunger lift and associated Software.
October 2013 to July 2014
Sales and Marketing Manager for Thailand and Myanmar.
Responsible for managing the SM team, focused on two major clients, Chevron and PTTEP,
together with several smaller independents in Thailand including Coastal Energy, Salamander,
Mubadala and TATEX.
The key client focus in Myanmar was on PTTEPI, Daewoo, Petronas, MPRL and MOGE.
January 2011 to September 2013
Group Business Unit Manager for Completion and Production Services.
Responsible for managing a $25MM a year business, across several product lines.
Instrumental in securing a $15MM annual business for Artificial Lift, specifically reciprocating
rod lift.
Secured a new 3 year Gas Lift contract with PTTEP to the value of $3MM
Increased Weatherford’s market share in the completions business by securing a new 3 year
contracts in Myanmar for PTTEP with a value of $7MM.
2. Introduced new completion techniques to Chevron Thailand, in the form of RFID technology, a
game changer in the completions business.
January 09 to January 2011 Weatherford
Business Development Manager, Cased Hole Completions, Asia Pacific
Roles included expanding the Weatherford Brand as an established Completions company in a
competitive market.
Instrumental in securing a $250MM open hole contract for Zone Select Technology with Sinopec
in China.
Secured the contract for Swell Packers with Sinopec in China.
Secured a new technology contract with Petronas Malaysia with the introduction of Renaissance
“No Workover” solutions.
Secured the Renaissance new technology, through tubing de-liquification contract with Total in
Indonesia worth $25MM.

systems in Angola. Assigned to Luanda to manage the BP block 18 and 31 project (deep water
1600m – 2200m). My role is similar to that described below for BP Venezuela.

After the successful completion of the BP DZO waterflood project, I resumed my role as the
Account Leader for all IOCs West Venezuela. Accounts included Shell, BP, ChevronTexaco,
ExxonMobil, Preussag, Samson, Perenco and CNPC.
3. January 01 to August 02 Halliburton
Account leader BP Venezuela and Project Coordinator for BP DZO West Venezuela.
Performed a dual role as the Project Coordinator (and account leader), due to my operational
experience. The primary focus of the coordinator for this project was to expedite operations by
interfacing Halliburton and the Customer’s activities, ensure HMS and safety compliance and the
application of past experiences to current operations. Oversaw several product lines, including
Directional drilling, drilling fluids, DST and service tools and total fluid management. This was a
discreet services contract, and not an integrated package.
August 98 to December 00 Halliburton
Field Service Coordinator / BD-TA for Tools and Testing , TCP and completions in Las Morochas
West Venezuela.
Service Coordinator for the Chevron LL-652 and Phillips Ambrosio UD.
Project Coordinator for Mobil La Ceiba and Repsol Mene Grande projects.

On assignment to the Halliburton Holland, North Sea Operations. Responsibilities included;
- Senior Service Supervisor Conducting DST’s and completions offshore and onshore
(HPHT wells for NAM)
- Design, preparation and maintenance of DST and service tools equipment.
- Training of new personnel, specializing in annular operated N2 tools.
- Relief Coordinator for T&T and CPS in Ijmuiden Holland.
April ’95 to May 96 Halliburton
On assignment to Halliburton Namibia. Responsibilities as the Base Coordinator for the Sasol
Namibian operation included;
a) HSE officer for both offshore and base operations.
b) Logistics – personnel and materials
c) International and Local Procurements
d) Offshore cementing operations working with the engineering group designing the
cementing programmes.
- Co-ordinating the design, assembly, operation and maintenance of the Cement bulk
plant ( project costs +- US $1,500,000.00)
This was Sasol’s first deep water (700m) exploration well drilled, using a drill ship, in full
DP mode.
December ‘ 94 to April ’95 Halliburton
Electronic Memory Gauge Specialist conducting gradient surveys for Shell Nigeria.
Characteristics of this operation:
- All surveys conducted from a SEWOP (self elevating work over platform)
- Twenty-four hour surveys

Other responsibilities of this assignment included the field training of Nigerian Nationals
on the electronic memory gauges:
a) Introduction to the gauge programme software
b) Programming of the gauges and the downloading of data
c) Generating of the reports
d) Preventive and field maintenance of the gauges.

Returned to South Africa from Gt. Yarmouth
- Introduced the North Sea QAQC program to the South African operation
- Lead Safety officer for offshore operations.
- Senior Lead-off Operator on DST’s and completions conducted offshore on semi
submersibles
- Training of local personnel in DST equipment and Electronic Memory Gauges
- Gauge specialist on DST’s, running both HMR and GRC gauges
Service supervisor for production well completion’s on Mossgas FA Production Platform, which
were characterized by relatively high water content (+- 25%) and high deviation (+- 72 degrees).
Responsibilities, as Senior Lead-off Operator, included;
- Electronic memory gauge surveys, both down hole (wireline soft set) and on surface
(choke manifold and xmas tree)
- Preparation, testing and deployment of completion equipment for production wells
- Otis slick/braided line operations

- Surface well testing operations

tools
- Specialized in Nitrogen tools (annulus pressure operated)
- Open hole DST (inflatable packers, torque limiter etc)
