PROJECT MANAGER – SOURCE WATER UPGRADES
On termination of the Xodus contract I transferred back to BP to directly manage the design, procurement,
fabrication and construction of all source water upgrades in the Rumaila Field Iraq. This encompasses raw
water lift pumps, additional break storage tanks, chemical injection, filtration and 5 pump stations to handle 2.4
MBD total for water Injection. This is inclusive of all associated services and instrument and control systems.
September 2013 to September 2014 Xodus Dubai
PROJECT MANAGER –SOURCE WATER UPGRADES
Retained as an associate by the Xodus Group on instruction from BP to manage the design, procurement,
fabrication and construction of all source water upgrades in the Rumaila Field Iraq. This encompasses raw
water lift pumps, additional break storage tanks, chemical injection, filtration and 5 pump stations to handle 2.4
MMBD water Injection inclusive of all associated services and instrument and control systems.

CONSTRUCTION DELIVERY MANAGER – RUMALIA OIL FIELD
In Rumalia I have responsibility for the refurbishment of the WI systems which included 5 Cluster Pump
Stations each with a capacity of 300 MBD, and 76 flowlines. Of the 76 flowlines 57 off 6” lines are to be
refurbished and a further 19 off 8” buried lines are to be newly installed. The new WI lines have an aggregate
of 80 Km of piping.
Refurbishment of the CPS’s entail strip out and rebuild of all pumps, installation of new surge skids, strainers
and new mainline 20” isolation valves and upgrade of control and metering systems.
November 2010 – February 2012 BP ICBT
AUGUST 2011 DEPUTY TAR MANAGER
Responsible Deputy TAR manager for the development and preparation of the Greater Plutonio 2012 TAR
scope. This encompassed work scope development, planning, work pack development, logistics, control of
scope entry criteria and all CVP process administration.
PROJECT ENGINEER Greater Plutonio HP Cooler Replacement Project
Initially I was assigned to support the Project Engineering Manager however within the first month I was
appointed as the technical representative for the design and fabrication of the 4 skidding systems for removal
and installation of the coolers. I then relocated to the contractor’s offices in Aberdeen. On successful
completion of this scope I was then appointed as technical representative to the Heavy Lift Contractor and
relocated to their Perth WA engineering office.
The HP Coolers were successfully installed in June 2011 4 days ahead of the schedule facilitating early
production from the FPSO.

Responsible Project Engineer for all modifications on the TAQA BRATANI contract. Current scopes are for the
Cormorant Alpha Platform and are the Fuel Gas Re-Instatement and Air Compressor replacement projects.
Both Projects encompass Front End Engineering & Design Studies through to detail design and construction
planning.

Director. Duties entailed design integrity assurance and compliance with all technical and legislative standards
for offshore engineering and accommodation units. Administration of the design department to ensure targets
are met both from a schedule and budget perspective.

technology and retains market share in what is a very competitive market.

May 2007 to Nov 2007 CONTRACT & TURNAROUND MANAGER – ExxonMobil Fife Ethylene Plant
I was responsible for the maintenance contract at FEP including the execution of the 2007 turnaround scope.
The turnaround scope was completed successfully without injury.
April 2007 to May 2007 BID MANAGER – Various Tender Submissions
During this period I was responsible for managing a CO2 Capture bid for Statoil. I was responsible for
managing all input to the bid compilation, review and final submission. In addition I managed all clarifications
and client interfaces during the clarification process.
April 2006 to March 2007 PROJECT MANAGER – In Amenas Engineering & Mod’s Contract Algeria
I was responsible for the management of a new start up contract within Algeria which entailed the
implementation of all engineering and modifications for the In Amenas Gas Plant and Gathering System. Fully
responsible for the implementation of all systems in support of a new country start up, including engineering,
construction, cost, estimating, planning, procurement, HSE, QA, contracts etc.
August 2005 to April 2006 PROJECT MANAGER – North West Hutton Decommissioning Study
Responsible for the conceptual study and costing of the above decommissioning study for BP.
As NWH is one of the larger platforms in the North Sea and decommissioning represents a relatively new
arena we were challenged with developing new technologies and indeed operational methods to facilitate cost
effective decommissioning whilst ensuring no accidents or harm to the environment.
I was responsible for the overall management of the study with our JV partners. McDermott International were
supplying the heavy lifting barge and lifting expertise whilst Subsea 7 supplied the underwater cutting
technology. Whilst the contract was awarded to others WG were commended by BP for their innovative
technologies presented within the study.
May 2005 – Aug 2005 BID MANAGER – Various Tender Submissions
During this period I was responsible for managing bid teams compiling the submission of various tenders. I
was responsible for managing all input, bid compilation, review and final submission, clarifications and client
interfaces.
December 2004 – May 2005 PROJECT MANAGER – Clyde/Claymore PWRI FEED Studies
Responsible for the management of Front End Engineering Feed studies to facilitate letting of an EPIC
contract for the installation on both the Clyde and Claymore platforms. Clyde was designed to process 100K
bpd at 220barg. Claymore was designed to process 60K bpd at 110barg in the first phase and 125Kbpd in the
second phase. Both systems include solids removal, cooling and chemical injection.
December 2003 – December 2004 PROJECT MANAGER – Unity Re-Instrumentation
Unity platform is an integral part of the Forties Pipeline System. The platform is effectively a pigging station for
the five fields feeding it and carries from 550,000 to 800,000 barrels per day dependent on the entrant’s
production levels. The project objectives were to replace the ESD, DCS, F & G systems and the power
generation to improve reliability of the platform. In addition the platform was rezoned therefore all equipment
was reviewed for correct hazardous area classification and changed where necessary.
Whilst BP subcontracted the system architecture design WGE have been responsible for all field interface
design, implementation and commissioning of the project. Due to the strategic importance of the platform
production it was imperative that the project was implemented whilst the platform was live. This was achieved
(19000 Hrs liquidated) with no loss of production and no safety incidents.
May 2001 – November 2003 DELIVERY MANAGER - Nederland Aardolie Matskappey (NAM)

As delivery manager I was responsible for the implementation of all work scopes from inception to
commissioning. WGE and Stork BV were the 2 members of the Joint Venture set up to service this contract.
This entailed an EPIC service for all Maintenance, Modifications and Projects associated with 28 offshore
platforms inclusive of satellites and the Den Helder gas processing plant. 1.05 million man hours were
liquidated in 2002 which included the addition of 3 compression modules, conversion of an existing platform to
a satellite including complete power distribution replacement, complete renewal of two Fire and Gas Systems,
two DCS systems and two ESD systems.

Employed at BNFL head office Risley, on the BNFL Technology Centre Project as Lead Project Engineer.
Responsible for completion of design, compilation of construction work packs and commissioning procedures.

Initially recruited by NSP to manage the FPSO Hook-Up contractor SLP, as 1st oil was 6 months behind
schedule. After an initial review a GAP analysis was carried out and I initiated the application of GOC Mancon
and achieved 1st
oil within 7 weeks. On attainment of first oil l was appointed Project Manager for all sub sea
tiebacks.
The first phase of a subsea project to manifold two wells W5 & W6 with an existing well W4 was successfully
completed £500,000 under budget in September 1998. Tie-back of Well W6 was completed in May' 99. Both
phases were completed on time and under budget.

NOVEMBER 1995 – JULY 1997 PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER Brent Delta
Management of a systems engineering group which comprised six Project Engineers. The objective of the
group was to ensure that the design intent was carried through to completion of the project. This
encompassed onshore testing, compilation of commissioning method statements, hazardous area register
compilation and control and vendor management for both construction and commissioning. Through in depth
planning and strict cost control, vendor and Sub Contractor costs were reduced from an estimated £6.2 million
to £4.8 million.
JUNE 1994 – NOVEMBER 1995 HEAD OF FOLLOW ON ENGINEERING Brent Bravo
Management of the onshore design team in support of the Bravo offshore construction activities.
Liaison with the offshore management team to assist in meeting stretch targets. Conclusion of main design
issues such as the Electrical Tripping Philosophy incorporating hazardous area equipment classification and
the Smoke and Gas Ingress Study. I successfully controlled an overall budget of 70000 man-hours for the
design group, which peaked at 42 personnel.

Responsible for the co-ordination of all disciplines and compilation of design work packs for the temporary
facilities to support the shutdown to accommodate the first complete topsides refurbishment.

September 2015 to May 2016 Wood Group ODL GLOBAL BID MANAGER In my role in the above position I am responsible for developing and implementing new systems to enable the globalisation of the WGODL bidding process. The objective being to ensure consistency of the bidding processes and consolidation of procedures across The EMEA, ME, USA and Australia. October 2014 to June 2015 BP Dubai PROJECT MANAGER – SOURCE WATER UPGRADES On termination of the Xodus contract I transferred back to BP to directly manage the design, procurement, fabrication and construction of all source water upgrades in the Rumaila Field Iraq. This encompasses raw water lift pumps, additional break storage tanks, chemical injection, filtration and 5 pump stations to handle 2.4 MBD total for water Injection. This is inclusive of all associated services and instrument and control systems. September 2013 to September 2014 Xodus Dubai PROJECT MANAGER –SOURCE WATER UPGRADES Retained as an associate by the Xodus Group on instruction from BP to manage the design, procurement, fabrication and construction of all source water upgrades in the Rumaila Field Iraq. This encompasses raw water lift pumps, additional break storage tanks, chemical injection, filtration and 5 pump stations to handle 2.4 MMBD water Injection inclusive of all associated services and instrument and control systems. March 2012 to August 2013 BP Iraq CONSTRUCTION DELIVERY MANAGER – RUMALIA OIL FIELD In Rumalia I have responsibility for the refurbishment of the WI systems which included 5 Cluster Pump Stations each with a capacity of 300 MBD, and 76 flowlines. Of the 76 flowlines 57 off 6” lines are to be refurbished and a further 19 off 8” buried lines are to be newly installed. The new WI lines have an aggregate of 80 Km of piping. Refurbishment of the CPS’s entail strip out and rebuild of all pumps, installation of new surge skids, strainers and new mainline 20” isolation valves and upgrade of control and metering systems. November 2010 – February 2012 BP ICBT AUGUST 2011 DEPUTY TAR MANAGER Responsible Deputy TAR manager for the development and preparation of the Greater Plutonio 2012 TAR scope. This encompassed work scope development, planning, work pack development, logistics, control of scope entry criteria and all CVP process administration. PROJECT ENGINEER Greater Plutonio HP Cooler Replacement Project Initially I was assigned to support the Project Engineering Manager however within the first month I was appointed as the technical representative for the design and fabrication of the 4 skidding systems for removal and installation of the coolers. I then relocated to the contractor’s offices in Aberdeen. On successful completion of this scope I was then appointed as technical representative to the Heavy Lift Contractor and relocated to their Perth WA engineering office. The HP Coolers were successfully installed in June 2011 4 days ahead of the schedule facilitating early production from the FPSO. SEPTEMBER 2010 – November 2010 CLERK MAXWELL Ltd PROJECT ENGINEER Responsible Project Engineer for all modifications on the TAQA BRATANI contract. Current scopes are for the Cormorant Alpha Platform and are the Fuel Gas Re-Instatement and Air Compressor replacement projects. Both Projects encompass Front End Engineering & Design Studies through to detail design and construction planning. Further responsible for all ongoing design development to ensure HBR remains abreast of the latest technology and retains market share in what is a very competitive market. MAY 2001 – NOVEMBER 2007 WOOD GROUP ENGINEERING (NORTH SEA) Ltd May 2007 to Nov 2007 CONTRACT & TURNAROUND MANAGER – ExxonMobil Fife Ethylene Plant I was responsible for the maintenance contract at FEP including the execution of the 2007 turnaround scope. The turnaround scope was completed successfully without injury. April 2007 to May 2007 BID MANAGER – Various Tender Submissions During this period I was responsible for managing a CO2 Capture bid for Statoil. I was responsible for managing all input to the bid compilation, review and final submission. In addition I managed all clarifications and client interfaces during the clarification process. April 2006 to March 2007 PROJECT MANAGER – In Amenas Engineering & Mod’s Contract Algeria I was responsible for the management of a new start up contract within Algeria which entailed the implementation of all engineering and modifications for the In Amenas Gas Plant and Gathering System. Fully responsible for the implementation of all systems in support of a new country start up, including engineering, construction, cost, estimating, planning, procurement, HSE, QA, contracts etc. August 2005 to April 2006 PROJECT MANAGER – North West Hutton Decommissioning Study Responsible for the conceptual study and costing of the above decommissioning study for BP. As NWH is one of the larger platforms in the North Sea and decommissioning represents a relatively new arena we were challenged with developing new technologies and indeed operational methods to facilitate cost effective decommissioning whilst ensuring no accidents or harm to the environment. I was responsible for the overall management of the study with our JV partners. McDermott International were supplying the heavy lifting barge and lifting expertise whilst Subsea 7 supplied the underwater cutting technology. Whilst the contract was awarded to others WG were commended by BP for their innovative technologies presented within the study. May 2005 – Aug 2005 BID MANAGER – Various Tender Submissions During this period I was responsible for managing bid teams compiling the submission of various tenders. I was responsible for managing all input, bid compilation, review and final submission, clarifications and client interfaces. December 2004 – May 2005 PROJECT MANAGER – Clyde/Claymore PWRI FEED Studies Responsible for the management of Front End Engineering Feed studies to facilitate letting of an EPIC contract for the installation on both the Clyde and Claymore platforms. Clyde was designed to process 100K bpd at 220barg. Claymore was designed to process 60K bpd at 110barg in the first phase and 125Kbpd in the second phase. Both systems include solids removal, cooling and chemical injection. December 2003 – December 2004 PROJECT MANAGER – Unity Re-Instrumentation Unity platform is an integral part of the Forties Pipeline System. The platform is effectively a pigging station for the five fields feeding it and carries from 550,000 to 800,000 barrels per day dependent on the entrant’s production levels. The project objectives were to replace the ESD, DCS, F & G systems and the power generation to improve reliability of the platform. In addition the platform was rezoned therefore all equipment was reviewed for correct hazardous area classification and changed where necessary. Whilst BP subcontracted the system architecture design WGE have been responsible for all field interface design, implementation and commissioning of the project. Due to the strategic importance of the platform production it was imperative that the project was implemented whilst the platform was live. This was achieved (19000 Hrs liquidated) with no loss of production and no safety incidents.   • 4. As delivery manager I was responsible for the implementation of all work scopes from inception to commissioning. WGE and Stork BV were the 2 members of the Joint Venture set up to service this contract. This entailed an EPIC service for all Maintenance, Modifications and Projects associated with 28 offshore platforms inclusive of satellites and the Den Helder gas processing plant. 1.05 million man hours were liquidated in 2002 which included the addition of 3 compression modules, conversion of an existing platform to a satellite including complete power distribution replacement, complete renewal of two Fire and Gas Systems, two DCS systems and two ESD systems. MAY 2000 - APRIL 2001 AMEC GROUP LIMITED LEAD PROJECT ENGINEER Employed at BNFL head office Risley, on the BNFL Technology Centre Project as Lead Project Engineer. Responsible for completion of design, compilation of construction work packs and commissioning procedures. JULY 1997 - MAY 2000 Maersk (NSP Co Ltd) PROJECT MANAGER Initially recruited by NSP to manage the FPSO Hook-Up contractor SLP, as 1st oil was 6 months behind schedule. After an initial review a GAP analysis was carried out and I initiated the application of GOC Mancon and achieved 1st oil within 7 weeks. On attainment of first oil l was appointed Project Manager for all sub sea tiebacks. The first phase of a subsea project to manifold two wells W5 & W6 with an existing well W4 was successfully completed £500,000 under budget in September 1998. Tie-back of Well W6 was completed in May' 99. Both phases were completed on time and under budget. JANUARY 1994 - JULY 1997 AMEC PROCESS AND ENERGY NOVEMBER 1995 – JULY 1997 PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER Brent Delta Management of a systems engineering group which comprised six Project Engineers. The objective of the group was to ensure that the design intent was carried through to completion of the project. This encompassed onshore testing, compilation of commissioning method statements, hazardous area register compilation and control and vendor management for both construction and commissioning. Through in depth planning and strict cost control, vendor and Sub Contractor costs were reduced from an estimated £6.2 million to £4.8 million. JUNE 1994 – NOVEMBER 1995 HEAD OF FOLLOW ON ENGINEERING Brent Bravo Management of the onshore design team in support of the Bravo offshore construction activities. Liaison with the offshore management team to assist in meeting stretch targets. Conclusion of main design issues such as the Electrical Tripping Philosophy incorporating hazardous area equipment classification and the Smoke and Gas Ingress Study. I successfully controlled an overall budget of 70000 man-hours for the design group, which peaked at 42 personnel.
