Howard Gardner developed a theory of
multiple intelligences in 1983, which can go
some way towards explaining different
learner styles, according to Gardner there
are eight types of Multiple intelligences.
2. The word player
People with high grade of linguistic show
abilities with words and languages.
They like Reading, listening, writing and
telling different histories.
LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL
INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of mathematical
intelligence have the ability to solve different
kind of problems like personal patterns and
logical too.
They like experimenting, questioning and the
figuring out logical puzzles.
LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE
3. SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of spatial
intelligence have the ability to show a huge
talent of visual memory and in most of cases
they become artists.
They like drawing, building and painting.
BODILY-KINESTHETIC
INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of bodily-khinestetic
intelligence are generally skilled at physical
activities such as sports or dance.
They prefer activities that include
movements.
4. MUSICAL
INTELLIGENCE
People who have high musical
intelligence are more perceptive to
sounds, rhythms, tones and music.
They like singing, dancing, whistling
and humming.
INTERPERSONAL
INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of interpersonal
intelligence are more friendly and are more
sensitive to others moods.
That like leading, organizing, relating and working
in group.
5. NATURALISTIC
INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of naturalistic
intelligence have different experiences
with flora and fauna of the environment.
They like playing with pets, gardening,
investigating about the nature and caring
for the earth.
INTRAPERSONAL
INTELLIGENCE
People with a high grade of intrapersonal
intelligence have great self-knowledge and
they have a precise picture of themselves.
They like setting goals for themselves and
planning their work
6. SYLLABUS
Lazer in 1991 created a programs that can be
considerer syllabus and it has four stages:
Awaken the intelligence: Variety of sensory
Amplify the intelligence: Tell and share experiences
Teach with/for the intelligence: Is the general
‘Traditional’ teaching phase.
Transfer the intelligence: Students reflect their
previous experiences

8. ADVANTAGES
• Student’s will be able to
demonstrate and share their
strengths.
• Students accumulate positive
educational experiences.
• Students are more creatives
• As a teacher you will provide
opportunities for authentic learning
based on your student need.
DISADVANTAGES
• Some students might have
troubles finding and
defining their strong
intelligences.
• It may be difficult and
impractical to teach lessons
to various individual
intelligences, especially
within large classes.
9. Error Treatment
• In general terms, it allows
adequate educational planning,
because it considers each
particular student’s feature.
• There is an individual
assessment (Depending on the
teacher's aim, syllabus and
personal interests).
