What is Quantum Computer?
• Quantum computing is a field of computations
that focuses on the development of computer
technology based on the principles of quantum
theory.
• Quantum computing is a type of computation
that exploits the common properties of
quantum states, such as superposition,
interference and entanglement to performs

Computing?
• Quantum computing is the study of how to
use phenomena in quantum physics to
create new ways of computing. Quantum
computing is made up of qubits.
• Qubit can either be 0 and 1 or a
superposition of both 0 and 1

• Quantum computers perform
calculations based on the probability of
an object's state before it is measured -
instead of just 1s or 0s .

• It was first beginning in 1980 by Paul
Benioff who proposed a quantum
machine model of the turning
machine.
• The first two-qubit quantum
computer was created by Isaac
Chuang & Neil Grenshenfeld.

The main advantages and strengths of

Used correctly, quantum computers
are incredibly fast and effective. They
can perform calculations in a few
seconds for which today's
supercomputers would need decades or
even millennia

Disadvantages
• Current quantum computer are largely
prototypes that are still bulky &
complicated.
• They still have many teething problems
that their developer have not yet been
able to fully address.
• The developers of the systems are
struggling with an error rate that is still
far too high.

Conclusion
Quantum computing harnesses collective properties of quantum
states, such as superposition, interference, and entanglement.
Devices that perform quantum computations are known as
quantum computers. There are several types of quantum
computers, including the quantum circuit and quantum Turing
machines.
