Now here we will see advance feature of MS Word that is Table.
Table is a grid made up of rows and columns in which you can fill text and graphics.
Row is a horizontal series of cells whereas column is a vertical series of cells.
A cell is a rectangular box which is formed by the intersection of rows and columns.
Tables are used for organising and presenting information in a systematic manner.

3. To create a Table in Ms Word 2007 , first open the Word document

Click - Start
Click - All Programs
Click - MS Office
Click - Microsoft Office Word 2007

4. Now place the cursor where you want to insert
the table.
There are two ways to create a table in word
document.
Using the Insert table grid option .
1. Click the Insert Tab.
2. Click the drop down arrow in the Table
group.
3. A drop down menu opens up.
4. Click the grid and drag the cursor .

4. Click the insert Table option . The Insert

1. Click the Insert Tab
2. Click the drop down arrow in the Table
group
3. Click Draw Table option , now your
cursor will change into a pencil tool
that will help you to draw a table.
