2. Process: Filming
Instead of filming in my
bedroom, I decided to film in
the living room of my home
because based on research,
the Top Gear hosts tend to sit
on a sofa for conversation.
Because this is just a video
teaser, I only recorded two
clips for about 5 secs each.
Once I recorded the videos
with my two unicorn teddies
(the hosts), I then uploaded
them (air dropped) into my
laptop.
3. Process: Post Production
After the two clips were uploaded, it
was time to edit. I started by collecting
of YouTube via converter the original
Top Gear opening from many years. I
then imported it from the downloads
and into my timeline, I then added the
two clips and then the title again,
before an ending title saying COMING
SOON, which meant that the video will
be released shortly. Originally, I
wanted the trailer to last longer, but
then had to change the length because
of the length of the clips I recorded, I
didn’t count on how short they were.
After looking through the video, I then
saved it to my files for uploading.
4. Process: Uploading to Blogger
It was finally time to
upload the video to
my blog. Like the last
two experiments, I
uploaded to Youtube
first so that it would
be easy to upload on
Blogger. I then
uploaded the file to
Blogger under the
title Experiment 3.
5. Reflection
What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product?
I will still use the topic of Top Gear as well as the location of the house for
the beginning of the video because in the actual Top Gear programme,
the host would tend tend to sit on a sofa and talk to celebrities, but it this
case, that wont be happening. I will also use the same characters and
their characteristics for the hosts of the video, as well as using iMovie for
effects. I will maintain the children appropriate effect.
