This document outlines plans for producing a poster and video advertisement for Canon. It will link footage from a TV ad and poster by taking multiple images and videos at different locations during outings with friends. Resources needed include a Canon DSLR camera and SD card. Potential locations include beaches, parks, and towns near Sunderland. A range of willing participants will be filmed during spontaneous moments. The initial plan was changed from road trips to capturing memories of time spent with close friends due to lack of driving licenses. Connecting Canon campaigns through a video and poster production
1. Usingthis documenttohelporganize myproductionforthe Canoncampaign,these notesandplans
all go towards the productionforboth the posterandvideo.
Linkingthe TV advertisementandposteroutcomes, multiple imagesandvideoswill be taken
togetheratthe differentlocationsIvisit,some forthe purpose of thisproject. Atleastbytakingitall
together,the connectionisthere betweentoCanonadvertisementsaswell asitsavestime
collectingall the footage togetherratherthanone daypicturesthe nextvideos eventhe probability
of travellingtothe verysame locationtwice justfora differentformof footage eachvisit.
Resourcesneededwillinclude anSLRCanon Camerafromthe Technicianoffice andmyown
personal SDcard. No othercamera equipmentwillbe needed fromthere.Propswill mostlikely
include snacks, fluids,speaker, basicallyall we have handy andusuallyhave outwithus whenwe’re
out ona regulardayout (mygroup of friends) keeping afamiliarsetting. Besidesthe usual,some
beachprops like atowel,change of clothes,notmanybutanythingthat will be useful asIaim to
gathera fewshotswhilstata beach.
Locationsmay include Seahambeach, SeaburnorSouthShieldsare alsooptionsforaseaside
themedsetting. LangleyPark, Sacristan, areasinSunderland,Durhamitself maybeeventhe Arnison
Centre?Multiple possibilities.Scoutingwill be neededtofind more sectionswe could use;might
evendiscoverlocationsI’ve neverbeenbefore. Can’treallytravel tofaror muchreallythough due
to the fact I wouldn'tbe the onlyone travellingtothese destinationswhenitcomestofilming,all
reallydependsonaccessibilitiesforeveryoneincludedinproduction.
A range of cast members will be needed soIwill be aimingtohave that only include some of my
friendgroup as longas theyconsenttobeingapart.Paperworkwill be presentedtoprove all who
were apart legallyconfirmedtoappearing. Sofar,I have KeilanRamsden, BenBowes,Jaycie Kipling
and Jamie Meek.Still needconfirmationfromNathanDavisashe will be outwithuswhere footage
will be takenforthisproject.
Schedule:Reallyfororganizingthispartof filming, Iwantto capture momentswhilstoutwith
friendsto create a montage of memories whichrecallingtomyfirstinitial idea itmaynotstickto the
ideaof road trips.The reasonformy change of ideacomesfrom none of us havingaccessto a
driver'slicence givingalackin opportunityforthisproject.Notthe whole planhaschanged though,
the ideaof spontaneousoutings withonesclosesthasbeenkeptinallowingthe shotsto work.

thingto relyonis the case of me succeedingin arrangingaccesstolendoutone of the colleges
camerasthis Friday forthe weekendhavingit outwithuson Saturday whilstwe are outcelebrating
findingadecent resultin the shotsI am after. Noissuesshouldfall ontopIbelieve.
Plansforbefore andafterthat day are still neededtobe made givinganaspectof different
locations, many changesof scenery,differentactivities. Givingarange of shotsnone beingtooalike.
By that,it shows multiple outings,multiplememoriesgathered,acollectionof goodtimesout.
Ratherthan lookingbackon thatone memory,there are a selectionof funones.
The layoutfor thisvideowill use bothvideosandpictures,firstplayingafew secondcliprecorded
duringproduction thenafewimagesfromthe same sceneryshall be insertedontop.Afterthat
quickmoment,the nextvideowill playcarryingon beingalittle repetitive butstillcontinuestopass
aroundthe message.
2. Finishingoff the videoadvertisement,ashotwill be included showingthe deviceresponsible forthe
footage taken.Textwill alsobe included givingdetailsastothe company,name of the camera,
where tofind the camera,etc.
